Friendly, pleasant atmosphere, a very straight fast pool table and the best sizzling steak (Chinese food) ever!

Haven't been back after joining up than at end the night won the membership draw than was told no sorry you can not have it because I had just joined what a joke and totally rules and regulation I googled it and put a formal complaint against them there's way more clubs better than that come around this area you guys not to go as you're in with the group you're an outcast

The Taree Leagues Sports Club is a fantastic spot! The staff are incredibly friendly and always make you feel welcome. The new Chinese restaurant on site is an absolute gem - the dishes are mouth-watering and full of flavor. It's quickly become our go-to spot for a great meal and a good time. Highly recommend checking it out!

We wanted a quick bite to eat whilst staying a night in Taree on our way home from QLD and found the League's Club nearby our motel. We are travelling with our 9 month old daughter so wanted to be in and out as soon as possible. We were greeted by the most wonderful and helpful lady at the door. She was so friendly and was interacting with our daughter and proceeded to show us where everything was including change tables etc. We then walked through to the main area and found a little table near the bistro and about 3 mins later the last from the front door came in and took us into the restaurant room where she said it was much cooler for our baby as it was a hot afternoon and proceeded to seat us at a table and carried over a highchair for us. The bistro food is Chinese and it was ordered and delivered to our table within 10 mins! So fast and really lovely food. We actually ended up cutting our visit short as our daughter had enough and they gave us take away containers to take our food home with us. Super friendly and helpful staff and yummy food.

Greeted at the door with a jovial doorman and entry procedure. Food was prepared and delivered by very helpful staff.
Only there for a few hours but a certainty for good food and pleasant surroundings

OMG, had a chicken burger & chips tonight, even so we had to reheat the chicken & chips when we were ready to eat the chicken was so tender & moist. We loved it.

Enjoyed the time spent there. It was a quiet day for the club and we had the place nearly all to ourselves. Friendly and good service. The meal was the specials which was quite good. $15. Very nice meal.

In Taree for work and thought I'd try the leagues club for dinner and I won't be back there. I ordered cutlets and vegetables, to start I noticed the crumbing was more of a batter and it was very gummy, the cutlets were very thin and over cooked, the vegetables were cold and somewhat soggy. Very disappointing!

It's looking pretty run down and in need of an upgrade/make over.. few holes in walls from missing power points, average paint job, equipment stored in the dining area etc the staff were friendly. Food was average/okay.. but I might've chosen wrong meals to judge from as I've read good reviews. Restaurant staff extra friendly and helpful. Prob would pick other clubs/pubs in Taree but the older generation seemed safe n happy there so isn't last on my list!

This review doesn't come lightly, but is so worth it. Best chinese this side of Gansu, traditional and fusion, great price, great service highly recommended.

Was down from Sydney for a quick lunch will not be rashing back very dry steak over cooked ask for rare very poor quality food

Saturday night dinner here at about 7pm. Street outside was being resurfaced so there was hardly anyone there when we arrived. Thought it might not even be opened. Signed ourselves in and walked to main area with bistro and bar. Staff were super friendly. Meal was very good went with the recommended creamy king prawns and we had a wine with it. Highly recommend if in Taree.

Like a trip back in time, very nice. Old mate and his guitar entertained us with a stack of 50's and 60's jukebox favourites while we danced and ate our fantastic Chinese food. Nice staff, good beer and punctual courtesy bus. Great night out.

My friend & I tried out the new lunch specials. It was presented very nicely & a generous meal for the price. We both had chicken schnitzel, chips & salad they also supplied a gravy boat with the meal. Very nice. We both belong to the Travel Club through the club & were interested in trying out the new menu from the new people who took over the Restaurant.

Nice clean club, friendly staff and cheap beer.lHas pokies.
