We went to tarthra bowling club for lunch on Wednesday ordered bangers and mash they had no mash so we had burnt baked potatoes it took a good 40 Minutes to be served our lunch there was only 4 of us in the restaurant would hate to see them in peek season the young lady that served us was really nice definitely won't be back

This was such a great place to get a delicious, generously sized meal, served by very friendly and efficient staff. Both of us enjoyed stopping here for dinner.

Compliments to the chef, by far the best porterhouse steak I've had in a long time. Perfectly cooked and tender. Couple this with cold beer and friendly staff and you have a perfect place to eat.

Great bistro dining. Friendly staff and a great club. One small thing... serve whole table at once. But we loved our dinner there.

Always a great feed, and friendly, happy, helpful staff. Interesting specials, and generous portions. With a few weekly meat raffles, event nights and live music, there's always something on. Tradie lunch deals are pretty popular, and for good reason. Playground and greens are all well kept and tidy, and there's plenty of outdoor seating, which is great through summer. Can't go wrong.

Let's start with the chips, lightly salted, crispy edges, soft innards, would be awesome with gravy. Salad was fresh as, again, lightly dressed, I'd say perfectly. Capsicum and cucumber with a bit of fresh lettuce, really nice. Now for the main event, oh boy.. there's a decent sized schnitty boi with 2 slices of pineapple(!), thin bits of ham and mozzarella on top. And the sauce joins in with some herbs having a go as well. I reckon this was one of the best cooked Schnits I've had, especially when I hit the thick part, so juicy, check the photo. I was reasonably hungry and I just got through this meal. Awesome coast feed if you're in the area and super friendly staff, top stuff going on here.

A group of 10 of us went last night & we were all very happy with the quality & size of our meals. They were huge & delicious!!
Plus we were able to sit outside with our doggies. Staff were pleasant too. Only thing was we didn't win the raffles!!!
We will be back.

The food we had last night in the restaurant was excellent. Staff were lovely and professional. Best lamb shanks I have ever had and I will certainly have them again next time I am in Tathra. Seafood pasta was also very fresh and home made tasting. Highly recommend eating here.

I was a bit wary visiting the bistro as it did not list anything as gluten free. We decided to go anyway as it is local to where we are staying and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the steak and veggies. My husband had a Parma and chips which was excellent. Highly recommend

Meals were quite good. Kids meals came out quickly. Some meals came out quickly but some received their meals after the rest finished. We were in a large group of around 30 people so expected some delay in meals. Friendly and helpful staff. Quite a good family friendly place for dinner with good prices and we'll portioned meals. Would recommend. ??'?

Generously topped, deliciously satisfying take away pizza on a Saturday night. Friendly service from the bar and a nice drink while we waited. Will be back.

If you're interested in a decent feed at a reasonable price, then this establishment is the place to go.

It's a fantastic place to visit.

To put it simple the foods not great , My burger was still pinkish & I was instantly put off from finishing any more. Cabonara was full of onion, If you're after a cheap meal & not fussed on taste this is the place for you.

The only place in Tathra to get great friendly service and the best Chicken Parmigiana!

The bistro serves amazing grub. A must lunch place if you are in the region. We drove from Merimbula for it.

We were staying nearby, and walked over to the club from our accommodation. Hubby was impressed with his salmon, and I was very happy with my pork cutlet and vegetables (a blessed relief, as I am gluten free and allergic to seafood - and was more than a bit over burgers with no bun). The pork was beautifully cooked, tender with a great flavour. The staff were lovely, friendly, accommodating and efficient. I recommended the club to a fellow traveller at our accommodation the next night. I wish we had gone back a second time.

On holidays we had dinner here including the surf and turf, calamari, wagyu beef burger and kids fish and chips as well as the chocolate sticky lava cake for dessert. We were super impressed with the quality compared to other pubs weve eaten at on the South Coast as well as the flavours and meal sizes. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Staff were really attentive and awesome right through from the door staff, to the bar and bistro staff. Thank you! We will definitely come back.
