Tea Gardens Motel is a nice place to stay for holiday. This motel is so clean and tidy.Manager Amanda and Andrew is so kind and helpful at all the time. We spend quality time in this motel.when ever we get holiday plan definitely we will stay again in this motel.I recommend for this motel for everyone for your holiday plan.

Stayed for the weekend! Overall a great experience, the place is nice & clean. I was greeted at reception by Amanda and Andrew and instantly felt welcome. Lovely place with a great view. Lovely pool area also. Very tidy and well presented rooms!! Definitely recommend staying. Thanks guys for a great stay!

Staying at this motel was an absolute delight! From the warm welcome at check-in to the cozy room, everything exceeded my expectations. Had a wonderful stay at the Motel ..Amanda and Andrew were very kind and friendly also providing my family with information with what was happening around the town for the long weekend.
Rooms were very clean and spacious.

Very happy with my room. It was a late notice check in, Amanda and Andrew (receptionists) were extremely well accomodating to myself and child. Anything I needed both guys were able to help and assist me with. Travelling with a young child is not easy but these guys went above and beyond to ensure we were both comfortable. Beautiful scenery also, both gardens and pool area was very well kept considering the atrocious weather. Awesome area !

Friendly staff, rooms immaculate, perfect location for dinner at country club next door, food was excellent, great value and served by a friendly and appreciative staff. Couldn't recommend this motel more highly. Many thanks again, Amanda.

My stay here was fantastic, the people at reception were friendly and able to help with any queries i had, the pool was well maintained and the place was also well looked after. I would definitely recommend this stay here for a couple or a family who are looking to relax in the bush land setting with a drink in hand in relaxation, thank you again for the awesome experience i had here

Location was peaceful, Spa was great, room was very clean, we could not use the pool as the weather kept changing and water was cold but it looked clean, communication with owner was very good and fast. Only thing that can be improved is that doors can be fixed so that when closed they can close smoothly and not make such loud noises when they close.
Also the credit card surcharge was a bit of high and was expected to be already covered by the amount paid for the rooms.

The room is good but the spa doesn't work and receptionist won't answer your call or respond to you and we don't have the pool accessible and their is no food after 7pm
around your hotel.
Finally I don't recommend this hotel and it shows 6km from Nelson bay but it is 66km on road drive it so hetictic to drive. Not suitable for vacation one star also more than this I don't have any less than this.

Big welcome to new managers. Amanda and partner what a lovely and friendly couple. We stayed 3 nights and loved everything. Fantastic and fast custom service. Reasonable price. Room was clean and tidy with the added bonus of a spa. Total peace and quiet. The scenery was beautiful and grounds well maintained. Thank you to the yard man. Food tho at country club was below standard. The only restaurants I
would recommend is mumms on the myall seafood and Hook n Cook takeaway delicious meals and made with passion. Location and things to do is very limited but it ended our holiday with some well earned rest. I loved this place so much we will definitely be back. Keep up the good work guys.

customer service nil, room barely clean, bathroom hasnt been cleaned properly in along time. built up dust and dirt on taps.
lack of maintainence overall. complained about loud party in common area, told you get that sometimes.
will not be back, very very ordinary, staff overworked as very busy when we were there.

One of the best accommodation experiences I've had. We arrived without a booking after hours and within 5 minutes we were in a room overlooking a bowling green as kangaroos grazed just beyond. Everything was clean and comfortable. The spa bath completed relaxed me up after a day driving and we ate at the Country Club (part of the same complex) where our kids could play and all the gluten free meals were clearly marked.

Excellent room!! Staff were lovely and accommodating. Had the quietest sleep and last minute accom after our car breaking down. Made the trip so much smoother. Thank you!!

They had a very friendly cat come into our room name was KJ very cute black cat and very friendly. Also has a very nice spa bath and a nicely sized pool. Highly recommend this motel you can even get three beds, one double bed and two single beds great for families.

Very neat and tidy place, and extremely comfy beds. We have stayed here on two occasions and will be back again. Receptionist was very friendly. We are very pleased

This motel is connected to the country club next door. Rooms are clean and present well. I knocked a couple of stars off because we had someone next door and straight across the hall. This motel has almost 50 rooms to work with. I knew straight away that the convenience of the cleaning was a higher priority than the guest experience. A maximum of 8 rooms were booked for the night. The car park was almost empty.

Very helpful staff with check in. Clean room and linen. Not sure if it was the wet weather the place had an old carpet smell though

The room's quality is good and has a decent size. But the customer service is very poor. The manager or staff were not ready to help at all. When we asked them for help, we had reply, we are happy to cancel your booking we will not give you any help now. It was when we were at the doorstep in the evening with kids and luggage.

We booked here for a quick last minute getaway and were pleasantly surprised. It's attached to a bowls club with bar and restaurant so more like a three star small hotel than a roadside motel in atmosphere.

Room was spotless and freshly painted. Tea Gardens is a gorgeous spot, very unspoilt with amazing beaches and a variety of nice places to eat. Very good value and we'll probably come back again!

The manager Hannah and her daughter Jordan were so friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. The room was spotless, the bed super comfy and the spa was divine. Location was perfect, right next to the country club and an easy walk to the pub and other restaurants. Perfect birthday long weekend. We will definitely be back!!

Love staying at this hotel very time I can, it quite, it a were a couple can hang out with each other and go explore the area

My friends meals were mostly eaten by the time I received mine. I had to go and ask where it was as the owner was busy talking to people whose meals were going cold while she chatted. The meal was full of fresh content but dry, very dry. Don't think I will be going back, tried it twice, never again!

The Owner/Manager, Hannah and her daughter Jordan were lovely and so helpful when we had to book last minute accommodation due to our car breaking down! The rooms were tidy and the food from the bistro was great. I personally loved the kitties who came to say hello every now and again near the door. All up we had a very pleasant experience and no issues.

Perfect location for bowlers. Mere metres from the bowling club. First time experience was very positive.

The motel definitely is a no-frills motel. The staff are decent, but the beds leave a lot to be desired. The food at the country club would get only one star. The food is waaaaaay overpriced for the amount you get and there's little variety. The sweet and sour pork had very little flavour and the chicken parmigiana had only a sniff of chicken and the sauce had no flavour other than tomato. The milk bar had better food.

As we walked into the office we were greeted by the very friendly resident guard cat. We then found our room down the corridor.The room was clean and spacious. There was also a spa with a good sized shower. Although a little dated everything was in good working order.Over all cheap clean accommodation close to everything Tea Gardens has to offer.
