Echo the previous comments about the recent changes in the Bistro. Understandably the prices needed to go up (they have really changed in almost a decade!), but after going there most weeks for the past decade, I had many meals that were terrible since the long term caterers were given the flick. It was a couple of months ago I got a schnitzel that I could not eat. The chicken was like a piece of rubber that I could not chew, and the crumb was separated from the chicken. I have since been told it was probably frozen, then microwaved before putting into the deep frier. I am not a fussy eater at all, and had overlooked all the previous dozen meals or so to support the club, but after that, no more. I have never received a meal from anywhere before in my life, that I couldn't eat. If one day the bistro improves and the meals return to the usual standard expected, then I will return, but I am still trying to get the bad taste out of my mouth (literally).
