Rock n Roll lessons Wednesday night 7pm, good priced meals and were excellent.

I have been here many times in last two years and I also experienced some changes underwent. But last couple months, we have been having meals here every week. Even the salmon I had tonight is not on the regular menu, it has been done beautifully. Thank you for another great dinner.??'?

Really disappointed.
Made a email booking for a special occasion. As I've always done for this venue.
Get there and they don't even have my booking.
Then to top it off they totally stuffed up my order.
The order came up correctly on the screen and I checked it with the cashier and paid.
Then as the meals where coming out 1 x entire meal was missing.
They said we didn't order that. I said we did for I checked it all off with the cashier.
The rudeness of the Asian women who came out to confront me was appalling and this was the same women who rudely said I didn't even book. Didn't even apologise when I showed her the email. Was made to pay for the each meal that I had already paid for and didn't print out. Not happy at all with there customer service. It's just not there.

Bring back the old owners of the bistro.

This club has been a long
standing community family based club unlike what Jelly Bean reviewed and still welcomes families. It also has a duty of care to all patrons to make sure children are not running around and therefore not creating other issues. Well done to staff and management

Maitland City club is outstanding for food, service and entertainment-save yourself the hassle and just go there (they also have a courtesy bus).

I'm here to tell you that your flimsy egg noodles are NOT silky delicious flat rice noodles coated in a delicious sweet, savoury & sour sauce, crunchy bean sprouts, garlic chives, scrambled egg, firm tofu, chicken or prawns! and finished with crushed peanuts and a lemon wedge!
It's a joke and to tell me the old people love it is an insult to everyone who appreciates a decent meal!
Hopefully like the "restaurant" before you- it will be short lived!

New bistro caterers! Please disregard any comments that are over 2.5 months old! Ticking all the right boxes! Great service, Great prices and best of all!!! The best food going in town!!!! Finally a great meal can be found in the local area !!! We'll done to the Woo family and Telarah Bowling Club!!!

Very enjoyable lunch at great prices

Lovely food, bit crowded long queue s to order. Food came lot quicker then I had expected. Love to go again.

Meals are delivered quickly, are hot and with all of the food being able to be eaten and enjoyed with nothing left to go in the scrap bin.

I stopped going to Telarah Bowling Club because of the previous caterers but now, the bistro has improved vastly and our Wednesday night dining group go there regularly.

The food was lovely and fresh. There is a lunch specials menu and also a kids menu.

Staff are wonderful. Great venue to celebrate a private event. Bistro now has Chinese, Thai and the usual bistro type foods available. A really nice club with awesome friendly down to earth staff. ??'?

They are good supporters of community groups. Their bistro has been a bit inconsistent but appears to be slowly improving. At times the bar and office staff can be rude though. Parking and location is good. Nice and quiet.

Echo the previous comments about the recent changes in the Bistro. Understandably the prices needed to go up (they have really changed in almost a decade!), but after going there most weeks for the past decade, I had many meals that were terrible since the long term caterers were given the flick. It was a couple of months ago I got a schnitzel that I could not eat. The chicken was like a piece of rubber that I could not chew, and the crumb was separated from the chicken. I have since been told it was probably frozen, then microwaved before putting into the deep frier. I am not a fussy eater at all, and had overlooked all the previous dozen meals or so to support the club, but after that, no more. I have never received a meal from anywhere before in my life, that I couldn't eat. If one day the bistro improves and the meals return to the usual standard expected, then I will return, but I am still trying to get the bad taste out of my mouth (literally).

The piece of fat they called "Steak" was barely a step up from Pagpag. After I returned it to the kitchen the Trailer Trash barmaid informed me I was unwelcome and I should leave. After running successful kitchens for 30 years, I spent an afternoon there to assist and assess where things could be going so horribly wrong for this club. I spotted the wire (from a scourer - which is why you never have metal scourers in a commercial kitchen)in a meal before it made it to a table. I spotted the slimy spinach under the arancini before it also made it to a table. Reheating frozen roast in boiling water - the list goes on - and I STILL went back for a meal to try and support this club. It's gone from serving 300 meals a night to (insert crickets chirping here) for a reason. BE WARNED!!

Really disappointed after the change. Besides the price change, my favourite meal is no longer there. The salad was as sad as you can imagine, the chips were ordinary. The salt pepper squid was not even as good as the one you can buy from supermarket. And they did not serve with sauce.

Very disappointed with our dinner tonight. We have been attending the Telarah Bowling Club for a long time and enjoyed their meals very much, but the new owners of the restaurant have increased the price of what we used to order by $10, the carrots weren't cooked properly, there was no pumpkin and a profusion of boring chips compared to the beer battered that we're used to. We will not be going back there again.

Ample meal variety, with good sized meals for a decent price. Decor is a little dated but doesn't take away from friendly and efficient staff, and community atmosphere

A lovely club in the outer suburbs.Beautiful outdoor spaces as well as the interior dining n mingle spaces.Was inspecting for a training seminar room.It has a great downstairs room available with full kitchen and toilet facilities.Training group will be in next week!!!I've also heard there's wonderful lunch on offer too.
