The Avenue Randwick

This is the first time I have done a Google review but I just need to acknowledge the fantastic food and service we received last Saturday [14th March] We chose The Avenue for my son's 30th Birthday party. Pietro from the Bistro could not have been more obliging and the food was amazing. I received many compliments from the guests that attended about it. The venue was perfect for the occasion [luckily so was the weather] Thank you again Pietro and your team for making this a very special day for my son, his family and friends !

We had our work Christmas party in The Avenue. Everyone was very happy. Firstly, it was very easy to organise and deal with the staff incharge. Pepe's kitchen was extremely professional and attentive to all our needs and has put on a Lebanese buffet that was delicious, generous servings and people just kept going back for more. Everything was fresh and delicious. Those with dietary requirements were looked after very well and were very happy. I was actually amazed at the selection they had. Pietro from Pepe's kitchen was there throughout the event to make sure we didn't lack anything and that everything was on time. The Avenue staff were lovely and welcoming, the place was clean, and we had many corners to hang out in and enjoy a lovely afternoon. It is a perfect venue for an event like this and we will definitely be back for more! Thank you so much, The Avenue, and Pepe's Kitchen for making our event a success. I would give you 10 stars if I could :)

Had our end of year celebration here last week and the venue was excellent. Lots of fun playing lawn bowls on a sunny afternoon. But, the exceptional part was the food - so many choices and ample servings. Everything tasted delicious from our canapes selection. Great job done by Pietro and his team. Thank you so much.

Disgraceful ! Waited over an hour to get an undercooked pizza and a frozen salad. The only good thing about this experience is I got my money back and now I can leave. Atleast McDonald's is around the corner.

Too many kids running around whilst their parents get drunk and don't watch them. It's safe and enclosed meaning they just let them run riot without any consideration of those that want a quiet drink in a beer garden. A kids/parent section should be considered so non-parents can have a peaceful drink. It's such a lovely space and the bar manager is brilliant. But the constant squealing is off-putting.
