Probably a decent place for regulars but wasn't very welcoming to visitors.
Everyone seemed to have an attitude like they didn't want us there.

We organised a function for 80 people for my mother's 100th birthday, I met with Emily several weeks before the event, she was so professional and helpful in planning the event including room layout and catering suggestions. We held the event today and it was a huge hit. The room looked fantastic and the food was delicious, Maha was the best hostess and made sure the afternoon was perfect. We had many comments from those who attended on how perfect the afternoon was. Highly recommended for anyone who needs to hold a function in the Maroubra area.

We've been performing our live comedy shows at The Juniors Maroubra for several years now. The staff and management are consistently friendly and helpful to the comedy patrons. Their hospitality helps the shows run smoothly and helps provide a great experience for our mutual guests.

I ordered a lamb kebab and chips which were beautifully and tastefully prepared. The lamb was soft and juicy, the chips crisp and the salad fresh with a tasty vinaigrette dressing. The helping was more than adequate. The price was good I'm going back for seconds soon.

Went for lunch & another time dinner. Food from the restaurant was mediocre, sauce was not properly wiped & cleaned (refer to someone else's photo) before serving & at one time, was served our dinner by an older guy wearing thongs. Shame on that guy! The bar staff are great, though.

My wife and I recently moved from Coogee to Maroubra.
The Maroubra Juniors is close to where we live, so its very convenient.
The staff are amazing, very welcoming and customer focused, especially:
Isabelle, Rand and Steve.

Absolutely disgusting service today! The guy at the bar couldn't even make my drink right... had no clue whatsoever! Forget the non existent service. He was measuring out my shot with ice. So then I had to go and pay for a second shot ... he put ice in the glass again! 4 people were standing there gossiping (including the manager!!) as I walked in. Atmosphere was weird. Then the staff were dragging around tables on the tiles making horrible screeching noises as we were trying to have a drink! I told them how rude it was to be doing that, the old ladies didn't say anything to me. But LOL they started gossiping about me to their colleague while my MOTHER was still sitting at the table. Oh but then the old lady staff member got told off by my mum. I hope head office reads this because this is how the staff are treating patrons on a Friday afternoon. Gossiping about them so other members hear and see it and not serving alcohol correctly! So, you have a problem, a big one. I work as a busy healthcare professional and just wanted to unwind... The only explanation is that there's poor management which I witnessed today he was gossiping at the front door with the staff and he must not want patrons in the establishment as the team keep driving them away! Not renewing our membership- will go elsewhere. Support local Clubs in NSW, yeah, no thanks. You brought it on yourself.

Great yum cha and fairly well priced - Big Pokie area

Being locals we gave the new restaurant a try for dinner. Our meals were OK - food needs some love. However, 5 stars for staff service.

Has gone down hill since Simon's closed. Got a chicken dish that was supposed to have king green prawns but was served small standard prawns. Also kids used to get a free scoop of ice cream with meals now $4.50 for 1 scoop of ice cream.

We had a class reunion at the club, $25 each for sandwiches and finger food, drinks extra. A great time was had by all. Food was good, everyone else was focussed on the South's NRL game in Brisbane

My first impression was the staff was extremely aggressive and rude. The old lady working at the Receiption desk around 5pm on 17th November, she seemed to have influenced under drug and have anger management issue based on her aggressive and irrational behavior. She said offensive words right on to my face when I just tried to get information about registration system. I did QR checked in and showed my full vaccinated certificate but She yelled at me and being very aggressive toward me when I asked the purpose of registration system which required privacy information. I thought she was a racist who attempted to harassed me at first but then I realize she had mental issue. Her customer service skill is really shocking and it's very shameful that someone like her treated the clients in the front line. Hope others clients don't go through this awful experience!!!

The bloke in in Bistro is too clever - he'll get your order wrong if it's too inconvenient for him to cook! The food is just re-heated and usually cold when severed and quiet expensive for a Club. Save your money and get a better experience in a nearby restaurant rather than eat at this Club.

Had dinner meeting with Lions presenting a hearing dog. Some competition with noise of crows for half an hour when they returned to roost on trees next to meeting room which was not sound proof. Good service.

The Simon Bistro is really good for families with generous portions. The Juniors is also a great place for a function with a wide selection of quality food and pretty cheap drinks (especially during 50% off times).

Good place to grab a 'pub style' meal with friends.

Casual location with plenty of bees on tap, my favourite here is Carlton Black.

I like to sit in the louvred outdoor area, it has a very nice outlook and provides for a very inviting environment for you to enjoy a tasty meal.

Friendly and welcoming staff including concierge, kitchen & bar staff.

The chef is happy to alter your meal and accomodate any special dietary or food allergy requirements.

The doorman ( who signs clients in) has great sense of humor, he welcome patrons in an interesting and warm way. The kitchen counter Asian man is lovely, when we ordered two dish both include chips, he offered to removed chips for one meal but increase the amount of dish instead. Very customer focused.
The hallway displays a great quantity of historical items that are informative and educative
