Amazing! Pints only $11.30!! Right near the beach and among all the great places to eat in Port Melbourne.

Multiple TVs showing whatever sport you request, slick pool table with great cues and chalk (rare these days lol), great selection of drinks, and wonderful and welcoming staff that are quick with a joke and a light of your smoke!

I found out they also have a functions space upstairs and I was taken there to have a gander and it's amazing, thinking of hosting my next birthday bash there.

Highly recommended, best pub in Port Melbourne!

I had an amazing experience at Rex Hotel! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening with family. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everyone feels welcome. The drinks are top-notch. Highly recommend Rex Hotel to anyone visiting Port Melbourne!

I've been to this pub a few times now, and overall, it's a decent spot if you're just looking for a place to have a few drinks. While they don't serve food, the drink prices are pretty reasonable, which makes it a good option for a low-key night out. The staff (aside from the manager) are quite friendly and always make you feel welcome. It's got a relaxed vibe, but if you're looking for a meal, you'll have to head somewhere else. All in all, a solid choice for drinks without breaking the bank.

Located in the heart of Port Melbourne, the Rex Hotel is an old-school pub that has been partially renovated. On the plus side the pints are cold and the seats are new, but on the downside it's basically a gaming room that serves drinks. There's no kitchen so the only food is a few pre-made sandwiches or crisps. There's a pool table and TAB but honestly not a lot to recommend it. There are more inviting pubs a short walk away. One bonus star given for the recent reno.
