I played golf here and was pleasantly surprised. Great layout although a little dry at this time. Worth the trip for the golfing enthusiast.

My partner and I were staying at a caravan park. The manager gave us a voucher which entitled us to 'Members' rates for a meal. We both chose roasts. I had the pork and my partner had the beef. Everything was delicious and plentiful but not very hot (temperature).
We were thankful for an economical meal. Thank you.

Beds, shower, toilet clean. Walls layered with dust, corners of the rooms filthy, don't look too closely at anything! Walls are THIN. You will hear every step the neighbouring guests take, along with every time a tap is used.
On site restaurant is nice in theory- way too expensive, no microwaves in the rooms and a barely working fridge, so you're almost forced to spend the money there anyway.

We were picked up by the courtesy bus, and the driver was very polite, chatty, and careful. The service at the bistro and main bar was excellent, and the girls were efficient and friendly.
Our food was delicious and came out quickly for a busy night.
I'd recommend anyone to come here for a relaxing meal and drink.

Staff could not pour a beer and they tried to talk us into becoming members. We waited far too long for our lunch, considering there wasn't too many people there and when the buzzer finally went off the food was stone cold.
Do not recommend.
We will not be going back

Stayed here and loved it. everything was good. well priced for what you get. comfortable rooms with super nice renovated bathrooms. bedrooms were generous in size with a fridge and basin. the food over at the club was great for the price. breakfast very cheap ,dinner too. even cheaper with a club membership ! nothing special but good food fairly priced makes for a great stopover and i'd highly recommend it !

We have stayed here before and were really impressed. The location we really like, the staff at the motel and the golf club were very friendly and the meals were great, unfortunately our room let down our stay as the carpet had lumps under it everywhere plus two seater lounge was worn and stained.

Great meal with plenty to choose from. Sunday night raffles were good, but the caller really needs to move it along. I think people were bored with the slow manner. Pokies played for our dinner. Barstaff were excellent.

Lovely resort with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are spacious, with basic tea & coffee amenities, however installing microwaves in the rooms would be a really good idea. Room service offerings are excellent, provided you don't require any food outside the resort restaurant's service hours. Top floor rooms have good sized balconies overlooking the golf course, ground floor rooms rear access opens straight out on the course, so it's really lush and green right outside your room.

Offered an upstairs room for an elderly,disabled lady but changed when the issue was mentioned.
Useful if you need a motel when travelling interstate.
Unfortunately a foul odour emanated from the bathroom,shower,toilet area and persisted all night .

Very clean and tidy rooms. Beautiful view of golf course. Beautiful huge meals in the bistro. Everything we needed for our stay. The shower is AMAZING! Perfect pressure and consistent warmth.

Had a great stay! Room was clean, beds were comfortable, views were immaculate and facilities were nice and well maintained. They provide equipment for the tennis courts!

Lovely place!
However as a solo female travelling for work. This place lack the basic security. Lock on the balcony door doesn't work.
Housekeeping used a master key to enter my room without notice, hours before check out.
It is very concerning and just doesnt seems like a safe place to stay.

I didn't go there as a customer but for a job interview, upon arrival, the front desk wasn't clearly labelled I went to one building that.l claimed to be the front desk, only to find out it was not only closed but in another location. I stood at the front counter for five minutes, no one came, so I approached the nearest staff member I could find and asked about interview, the woman was nice and directed me to the next bar, to talk to someone, who would then have me take a seat, wait ten minutes before then giving me an interview. But this was just my experience, the chances of finding parking is terrible. The place is spacious, a gold course, from I saw nice service, it is a nice quiet place to play some golf.

Good service, very kid-friendly with a family atmosphere. Food is familiar classic pub food, with some gourmet stuff like the aisan tasting Platter. Service is good, but slow to grab plates from table, and food service is also quite good. Would recommend to families going out, or making a weekly night out of this place

On Saturday the 21st of January I had a Memorial to attend on behalf of my late brother in law. The Memorial was held at the Thurgoona Golf Club as Saturday the 21st of January would have been his Birthday. The function room was a great place to hold such a beautiful way to remember and celebrate his life and birthday. The staff were amazing and the food was fantastic and very well presented. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the Thurgoona Golf club as there is nothing to complain about. I would like to thank the staff for their support and professionalism in making this very Sad, but Happy occasion one that I will never forget. ?

I had a great stay here. Great big room, new and modern bathroom, big TV, little kitchen in the room with a desk, table and lounge. It has a balcony where you can go outside all for a good price, however . . . The reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 is that when it was time for a shower after a long day of driving the shower would keep going cold then hot and with not a lot of water pressure. Another is that when I went to check in there was a sign at the door saying to go up to the main clubhouse. This wasn't mentioned to me before. The bed wasn't overall comfortable to sleep in unless you like hard beds.

Still, overall I would come back here again to stay.

Just when we thought that we wouldn't be able to play golf because of the amount of rain and all the floods around Albury. Thurgoona country club was fantastic. The course was in awesome conditioning and the weather was amazing as well for the four days we were there. Very grateful to all the staff and Rachael for looking after all of our group.
Would highly recommend.

Visited the Resort this week with a Group of Golfers (20+) and our stay was nothing short of excellent. Rooms are very well appointed and are serviced daily. Meals are so good , with my range of Porterhouse Steak & Atlantic Salmon cooked to perfection with a great salad & chips combination. The menu is vast and caters for all tastes. Great selection of local wine adds to the excellence. The Resort is very clean & tidy and every staff member were ever so friendly and made you most welcome. Golf course is well worthy of its Championship rating and was in very good condition after the NSW Seniors event. Highly recommend this facility for Group or Family occasions. Tennis , Gym and pool make it a great spot for the younger folk as well. Thank you ??????????

The motel is like most motel rooms. Room was clean and bed comfortable which is what you are looking for. Bathroom had been renovated and was laid out well.
Would have been nice to walk out and play golf rather than have to go to work.

The room here was really good for the price, Basic but also very neat and tidy. The bed was pretty comfy and there was a good view from the balcony of a little creek. I found the service in the bistro / bar area to be a bit casual but friendly. The breakfast we had was quite good I'd recommend eating here.

Great place to stay, lovely golf course right outside the balcony door.
Sometimes there's also plenty of wildlife to watch...
Rooms are clean, showers are large, beds are very very comfortable.
Has a laundry that guests can use. Staff are fabulous & only too willing to help with any requests.
Have stayed here numerous times.
Golf club next door is an added bonus for easy walk for food. (Breakfast, lunch & dinner).
Only critical comment is it a little dark in the rooms even with all the lights on.

Another place I love to go for a meal with family or friends, the prices are very good, they are generous servings, and cooked beautifully. Also can have a little flutter on the pokies or in the tab.

I don't normally post reviews online but we have had a particularly unpleasant experience tonight. Had to wait over 2 hours for some of the food to come out after asking the staff multiple times. They also lost two orders from our table which had to be chased up as well. Staff were rude and unapologetic to us. Definitely won't be returning.

A pretty typical NSW club. You know what you're going to get. A good discount for members on Aussie food like roast, burgers and seafood.Friendly staff and a lively view over the golf course if you choose to.

Sister and husband belong to and play golf at the club and we have lunch there once a month. Nice meals and friendly staff. Very nice location and clubrooms. Will join up as soon as I've had a few lessons.

What a great Country Club Resort we found 2day just over the freeway at THUROONA.18 hole golf course, all weather tennis courts some under lights, also 26 motel rooms. Dining inside club catering 4 all needs, Sunday roast $10, healthy multi grain sandwich & rolls etc. Outdoor entertainment area with BBQ. Looking at getting entertainment going again.GREAT PLACE, WELLDONE.

As a visitor for the first time to that club, we had dinner and drinks, the food was lovely and great ice cream, my hubby came back there on Tuesday 5/1/21and played golf and said a great course and really enjoyed it, we will be back when we are down in Albury next time, cheers Sheryl & Dave

The accommodation was amazing, extremely clean and nice and quiet. The club itself had beautiful meals at an affordable price and the staff were tremendous in their customer service. Could not fault the place and would highly recommend to anyone!

Oh my goodness, this has been my favourite place to stay. I only regret not takibg my clubs because we drove up and were catching a show and straight back to Melbourne the next morning. Next time I will take the clubs and make time for a round on their beautiful course, amazing service and immaculately presented rooms.
