Ad libbed cocktails, because the ingredients on the cocktail menu is apparently "not how we make it"!
No sauce... with the main.
The two 'female' staff members were too busy socialising with eachother about their weekend, and rolled their eyes at us when we asked anything of them.
The shining star of our disappointing experience was Nathan. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was so cheerful and helpful. Nathan is an absolute asset to the Tradies Caringbah.
I would recommend saving your time and money and just eating at home.
I would give it zero stars, but unfortunately you can't.....

We had the seafood platter, it was plentiful fresh and delicious. The service given by Joseph was warm and friendly he made us feel like we were home. Thanks guys for a fantastic experience, we will be back with others.

At about 5 o'clock 25/5/2024 this evening we visited Caringbah Tradies. While having a drink we were playing the poker machines. We pressed the drink button, however the waiter didn't come for sometime. I cancelled it. The waiter arrived. The waiter took our order, picked up two presumably empty glasses and spilled one full glass of apple cider over me. He grunted a sort of apology and proceeded to go for our order. I was soaked through with cider. He brought our drinks back. I thought a 'complementary' drink would be in order. But no, he got some sort of cloth and almost threw it at me. I asked for a damp one as the cider was sticky everywhere and that came ...freezing. I first joined the trade union club when you needed to be a member of a union. I found the attitude of this staff member less than acceptable. I traveled two hour to my home by train wet through and sticky. I don't need to keep an ongoing membership of this club as we live way out of area but it is close when we visit family members.I do so as it has been part of our history and culture. If this is the way you treat members and visitors Highfields is just around the corner.

Delicious seared barramundi and tasting plate, good selection, friendly and efficient service, well spaced tables so not too noisy

Hard to review an establishment that refuses entry because of our location. Despite driving 31km from Bundeena to enjoy a meal there with friends, we were told we had to join the club because we lived close. Thankfully there are plenty of other choices nearby that can understand the intent behind the rules

Did a course in the upstairs rooms. Welcoming and friendly place. Staff were helpful in setting up room and escorting people to the location. Parking was a little difficult so plan for a little more time to find a parking spot if you are going to be a few hours or more.

Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, great food and beautiful view.

Tried to go for a lovely lunch with beautiful views at the club with my family today (Dad 94 yrs) as we had previously. He was outside the new 15 k entry rule according to the interrogating front desk aka "receptionist".
Kerfuffle ensued, won't be back. The entry requirements are excrutiating for non-members. It's an obvious grab for cash by this club from the locals. No way Sutherland Shire stretches for 15 k's in any direction. Don't bother going. Who on earth would drive over 15 k's just for a club?? Friendly pubs and restaurants for us from now on. I'd give it no stars at all if possible.

We were a group of 33 including kids and everyone of us were happy with our meals including kids meals. The service was exceptional, staff very friendly especially Phill (Duty Manager) and Lara as well as all waiting staff. Play space was also a hit. Will definitely be back.

Had my son's birthday and christening there. Lovely view, the staff were very helpful and accommodating pre and on the day of event. The 2 course meal were delicious. Sonya, our host was very helpful. Guests were very happy, we had a great time!

Nice little place. Good for famlies with kids as it has a kids play area. Plenty of parking on the street or carpark behind. Food was pretty good also.

Loved the relaxed vibe of Caring bah Tradies, great food which is well priced and fab choice. The staff were excellent. Definitely recommend it.

Food was excellent and staff very pleasant. A bit less children playground in the body of the restaurant would have been great particularly given there is a children play area.

We had a fabulous Birthday Party here & the venue for the 3 year old toddlers was just perfect. They were able to play in the play area which was supervised by staff. The food platters were delicious & very well organised. Great morning & can highly recommend this venue. Plenty of parking outside too.

One of our favourite places to have a relaxing drink and delicious meal. Atmosphere is warm and inviting, food is wonderful, but above all, some of the best customer service I have experienced for a while. Keep up the good work. ?

Great food! We are never disappointed by the delicious meals we have here. The mussels are particularly good.

Amazing area, brand new fit out and staff really friendly. Kids area looks so fun but we hadn't pre booked so unfortunately the kids weren't able to enjoy it. Pre book if you're keen to visit with little ones.

Went for high tea, provided an excellent GF range.

We came here for a drink at 9pm and we had good quiet time with friends. Salt and pepper squid was good! Budget friendly drinks and snacks.

It is very good for kids, and can enjoy the Nice view .There is a playground for kids, they got drawing, blocks, TV, and a big climbing structure. and there is friendly staff to take care the kids.Just Cost 5 Dallas for every 90 mins session.Only thing is the steak there are both over cook.but the special of the Day, we ordered the wallfal for the kids, that is very budget and good quality.You can spend there for half day long.
