Traralgon Bowls Club - Local Club in Traralgon Victoria

I booked our table on line which was easy, quick and convenient.
The staff were friendly and helpful, we had one seniors meal (parma) and one of the specials meal being the souvlaki in pita bread, both meals where fantastic, we where served quickly and enjoyed our meal. We sat on table 11

A lovely atmosphere, however a very disappointing meal.
I ordered battered fish with salad. Ended up with 1/4 piece of tomato, the skin off half a slice of cucumber and the rest of the salad was lettuce . Unfortunately there was very little fish, it was mostly hollow fried batter, hardly any fish in it. It certainly wasn't a proper dinner. I certainly wouldn't dish such a plate of scraps up to any visitors at my home. I'm so disappointed. I do hope these comments assist the Club in reviewing and improving the meals currently provided. I'd like to support the club, however will wait until I know that meals have improved.

Venue was bright and tidy. Food left a lot to be desired. Ordered roast of the day and got roast corned silverside with gravy! Vegetables not appealing either. Some of our table got their lunch a long time after the rest had finished eating even though we ordered almost together. Staff kept apologising for how long we'd waited. Heard them doing same to other tables as well.

Seniors meal of fish and chips looked bland when you had to pay extra for salad... most meals NORMALLY come with salad or vegies but nooooo..
A friend had pie and chips...WELL...looked doscusting, unappetizing and the pie looked like it went four times reheated in the oven...awful and looked lovely ke it was better in the he bin...should of maybe plated it amaller as the plate was to big. Also the wait was at least half hr and hardly anyone there and we only had a main meal...could of been better and may not return...

Great family place to have dinner. Food service was a bit slow took around 45 min to get our plates. However it might be because one member had food allergies that might if pushed back our meals. Pokies venue is also on-site. Flavour and texture was great. Overall a pleasant experience for us visiting from the city.
