Great and yummy food ? . Had a good eater. Excellent customer service and great atmospheres. Had creamy garlic prawns which was so good and kids had yummy chicken parmigiana. Value for money and excellent portion. Highly recommended.

Excellent meals and service. Meals are very large, great value. Very nice environment with a range of seating to suit anyone. Everything was very clean and hand sanitisers were everywhere. Close to the end of the Rail Trail, glad we stumbled on this club while looking for somewhere to have lunch.
Bowls areas looked fantastic. Indoor and outdoor greens.

2 years ago the service was great and the meals came out close together but recently the service has been slow and patchy with meals not coming out together. On our recent visit for dinner we were informed meals either come with veges or chips and not both and will need to purchase separately if want both. Also snitzel night is now burger night which we aren't pleased about. Upon all of the above being said we will be trying out different venues for want of a better experience.

Food is mediocre, nothing comes out together. We had 7 at the table, our meals scattered out over 30mins, not good enough. There's clearly a problem in the kitchen if you can't complete a whole table at the same time....
Three of us had completely finished before the next lot came out.
That's our last time driving all that way for that service ???"

Used the conference room upstairs on this occasion. Unfortunately the lift was not working and I had an ankle injury and a lot of equipment had to be carried up the stairs. Found the hot water tap dispenser for coffee and tea very confusing to use.

After sightseeing in and around Traralgon, I decided to have dinner at the local bowling club.
I ordered the Fisherman's Plate which had fish, prawns, squid etc all beautifully served with breadcrumbs or batter. Delicious!!!

This used to be my go to place for dinner in Traralgon but I will give it a miss next time.
Usually I'm able to sign in to the venue by typing in my details but this time my partner and I were instantly denied access and told we needed a physical ID to enter.
I questioned why we needed ID to sign in if we were both not drinking, not gambling or under 25. They blamed it on licensing laws, however as I questioned further, I found out that you are still IDed at the bar and that signed in with your ID is just a weird rule the club has made up, I guess for data collection which is just plain creepy and unnecessary...
Other than that, none of the staff were particularly friendly and the two we dealt with in terms on the ID issue were quite hostile.
The food was average and when one person on our table was honest with the waiter and said the food wasn't great, the waiter said she would sort something else out in the kitchen and did not return.

Well what a joke that was we ordered our meals & there was one missing, so 10 minutes later we asked where the meal was (spaghetti bolognaise) they said it's on it's way, a further 10 minutes goes by still no spaghetti so I asked for a refund as we had all eaten our meals. The very rude waitress comes back with the docket & says you didn't order spaghetti, I said well I'm very sorry you're the one that took my order & she read it back to me. The Manager Tamara was very nice & sorted it & apologised on behalf of her rude waitress. She offered us a venue voucher which was very nice of her.

To start with there are multiple menu's in line so be careful. I ordered crispy beef stir-fry which wasn't crispy and had next to no flavour. My daughters could cook a better stir-fry at 10yr old. Certainly won't return. ?

Disappointed in getting just half a chicken Parma chips and salad for $26.50. Other places for the same meal the Parma is always at least double that size. Not value for money by a long shot comparatively and won't be back.

A good impression of the club when we arrived, with modern decor & pleasant staff.
However, ordered our meals - after 30 minutes, a waitress apologised that the kitchen had missed our order, & were only just cooking it now.
Not too worried by this, but while waiting, I realised I been over-charged. I got the difference refunded without issue.
When we received our meals, my wife's chips & gravy were cold! The staff replaced them quickly, & the meal was quite nice.
However, not impressed with these mistakes. They need to pay attention to details.

Giant piece of plastic in a meal- forgivable, accidents happen. However the attitude of the women who was supervising was completely foul.
I showed a staff member the meal with plastic she told me she would get her supervisor to which the following conversation happened
Supervisor: "yes? what do you want?"
Me: "oh the lady I just showed took the bowl, there was plastic....
Supervisor cutting me off mid sentence: "yes she showed me so what do you want?"
Me: "well I thought you guys should know"
Supervisor: I'll give you a refund
*does refund*
supervisor: it's done.
She then whips around and shows another worker a text on her phone
Not even so much a "sorry"
Not sure how this person even ended up as a supervisor with such a foul attitude.

Any place of employment who discriminate against pregnant woman, blatantly ignoring equality and the fair work act should be shunned. The fact that a female head chef is the person responsible for this discrimination makes this even worse. Do not recommend.

Won't be back. So disappointing Table of 10 .. only one or two people happy with the meal when they all arrived at different times. Food quality should he of a better standard to match the updated venue. I've never seen the dining area so quiet on a Saturday night

We'd been long ago and the experience wasn't great, but after seeing recent positive reviews we decided to give it a try again...what a disappointment. Kids schnitzel was ok but a bit dry, gummy grilled was rubbery and dry and the 80% plate that wwas chips unfortunately weren't nice, but the worst was the thai beef salad. The meat was pretty well raw, and a pale pasty grey colour at best...the smell of raw fatty meat made the salad smell disgusting. Hubby ate barely a few mouthfuls as couldn't stomach it...we let waitress know it was awful, and to let chef know...she was indifferent and said she would. We didn't get a response, refund or apology so just left. Unfortunately we won't be back. The only positive was the garlic bread, it was very nice...

Terrible night out! The staff were bad. One in particular. It took a very long time to recieve our meal. They let a table full of housos in that were clearly drunk and then sat them next to us. There children were just left to go wild everywhere and just disturbing everybody screaming running everywhere etc... And staff did nothing. We paid good money for a below average meal and atmosphere that was worse than some of the most dingist pubs you would ever find. Ruined what was meant to be a special night out. Never again will I go there and I do not recommend!

Went for my birthday 2 years ago

Wanted to go to the bowls club for dinner as a family. We have a 5 year old son with a severe childhood eating disorder. They wouldn't allow him to have his 'safe foods' in their restaurant so we couldn't dine there. It's not as if we asked 'just because he's fussy', this is a young child under the care of specialists with an eating disorder and we wanted to enjoy a nice family dinner out. Discrimination. So much for equality and fairness. Disgusting.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the outside marquee was cold

Our experience at the bowls club was a little mixed. They were kind enough to let us come in early, as we had a birthday celebration and needed to set up. They were very accomodating for this. Overall the staff were friendly and considerate of our needs. Unfortunately, the food was far from good quality. The seafood platter smelt rotten, and was covered in greasy batter. The parmigiana tasted like they had been microwaved and were stringy and the pulled beef parpadelle had no meat, and tasted like it was made with tomato sauce. Post meal, a number of us felt ill. Not sure if this was a really bad day because previously we had experienced quality meals that we enjoyed and wanted to come back for. The venue is clean and followed all covid safe protocols.

Fabulous for indoor beginners bowls undercover conveniently located with excellent menu and plenty of carparking spaces. Obviously bookings for parties as at lunch time 2 large tables was booked.

Whilst the floor and bar staff are great there is something very wrong with the kitchen. Over the last 12 months we have had to walk away 3 times without getting our meals due to the time it has taken and last night was the final straw. Had to ask where our entrees were after waiting 40 minutes and then after waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes for our mains asked where they were and was told they were being served right now. 15 minutes later still no meals, asked for a refund and walked out. Won't be renewing our memberships here!

Great food , we had the seniors meal & it was more than enough for our lunch ..even got sweet in the price . Great value for money..

This is an extremely impressive venue from both a bowls point of view and and from a restaurant & gaming point of view.
Bowls facilities are world class accomodating a full size indoor rink and out door rinks which would easily live up to a venue that can host world class tournaments. The restaurant has a large floor area accomodating heaps of tables of various configurations. The restaurant menu has a large selection of meals also catering for seniors and vegan customers, the prices I found were quite reasonable and the meals tasty and filling. The staff were very friendly & helpful. There is also a gaming machine, lounge & public bar area. Well worth a visit if ever in the area. ??'????'??
