It was one of the very best bowling clubs I have ever visited. Staff is fantastic, and the food is extremely first class. Tuncurry bowling club is a leader in showing how a bowling club should interact with visitors, staff, and members.

Recently indulged in the deluxe mix pack from the newly Troppo Jacks fish And chip menu and I must say, it was an unparalleled experience! Featuring an array of succulent fish cocktails, perfectly fried prawn cutlets, tender calamari, and crispy chips, the portion size was incredibly generous. Words can hardly capture the exceptional quality of the seafood; it truly redefined my perception of fish and chips! Moreover, Mick's service was exceptional; his attention to detail was second to none, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was absolutely perfect.

What a lovely place. It was lively but not rowdy.
10/10 for the lovely staff who were always polite and friendly and had smiles on their faces. What a breath of fresh air. We will definitely go there again and again.

Very swanky club just refurbished. Where lunch is a decent price. I had lamb shanks with mashed potato. The potato was to die for. The lamb shanks needed another 1 or 2 hours of cooking. It had tomato gravey? Normal gravy would have been better. The fish had a fishy taste...pity... But a great place to come to. Staff were brilliant. Polite. Friendly. Yes, I will go again.

The club is nicely renovated. We had a meal of crispy barramundi which was tasty. The only issue was that the vegetables were quite cold and did not taste fresh. My partner though they could do with a larger selection of beer. Otherwise, a good club. Worth a visit

Had dinner at the new bistro Saturday night. I was very impressed with the efficiency of staff, quality of food and cleanliness of the new facilities.
Every meal leaving the kitchen looked yum and I can't wait to return. All four of our meals were very tasty and great portion sizes.

Nicely refurbished, very good meals and great staff

Currently undergoing renovations, the bistro staff are happy and talkative. What they don't tell you is the procedure. Once buzzer goes off , it's either delivered by a robot, or meet a lady with a trolley. Very disappointed in the food though. Ordered Moroccan pot pie, it was so dry, but tasted ok. Meat in part was burnt, rock hard veges. Thank god for the dessert cabinet, beautiful cakes available. My suggestion skip the main and have 2 desserts

I would not recommend the rendang curry, it was tasteless, more like a gravy. My partner had barramundi which was excellent. Otherwise our night at the club was very good. Good entertainment also.

Friendly welcoming and bistro staff. An amazing selection of lunch specials. We've been here several times and the food is always generous and tasty. Best club in forster or tuncurry.

Good solid club food. Seems to be well done. Have sampled the lambshank which was very good and tonight the seafood basket. Seafood basket very poor. The club specials seem to be good price.

.they are doing major renovations but we were directed by friendly staff & enjoyed a nice lunch. Obviously they are pre prepared meals..but could have been heated a bit more....very tasty pork ribs & lamb shank.

Went there for lunch. It's being renovated, so I can't be too harsh. The transition is looking very promising. I was satisfied with the service. I am looking forward to another visit in the future.

Well presented club, staff friendly all had a great smile, food was good value both meals really enjoyed. Recommend for sure. Give it a try ??

Got there on open times, waited 30mins in a line to order, 20 mins for a garlic and cheese bread that was not cooked and another 30mins for our meals which were way below average.
Staff were fabulous and and a big shout out to the lovely waitress with long blonde hair who came running out of the club to give us something we left behind.

Had dinner with friends here this evening. The salad and chips were great and staff lovely to deal with but felt it necessary to pass on our disappointment with our meals tonight. We didn't expect a bowling club in a popular holiday location during the peak season of summer to have meals like this. Unfortunately the wait to place our orders took was unreasonably long ... it took 30+ minutes standing in line for only 10 people in front of me to have their orders taken. Cooking took an additional 30+ minutes despite the restaurant only being half filled capacity wise. Sadly we were disappointed by the schnitzels with salad, gravy and chips. For the price we paid ($20) the chicken schnitzel was dry and flavourless and the meat seemed to be lower quality processed chicken compared to other schnitzels of a similar of lower price. We hope this review is able to help Tuncurry Bowling Club make improvements to their menu so that others can continue to enjoy a tasty meal while away.

Very friendly staff. We attended for a family members birthday party. The table party decor was lovely. The food was really good, especially for the cheap price!

We have been to a few bowls clubs before and had meal. Reasonably priced for value. Was extremely disappointed after order 2 meals ($42 fish and chips) I'm happy to pay the $42 for value but this meal pushed the limits. Not only was the meal cold but for $42???. This was NOT good value. I explained my concern to the chief who appologied and cooked a few more fish for us. These were in fact also cold. I spoke to the manager with about my concerns. He appologied and looked into it. He returned with a refund and offered to make us another meal. I thanked him but said I'd prefer not. Once again I'm happy to pay but would expect value for money

Very disappointed. Waited 1 hour just to order food then over 1 hour for it to be ready. When I finally got my meal the roast off the day was average and cold and my kids pasta meal was massive and she didn't want it by the time it came out.
Won't ever go back. Very disappointed

We went tonight. 6.15pm arrived. Queued for 35 mins to order and 50 mins for the worst meal Ive ever eaten. We had small kids with us and they ate at 8pm. Absolutely disgusted. The so called barramundi was dry and covered in a mayonaise sauce. Supposed to be herb butter. The corn was "baked" and withered up. Mash was straight out of a deb packet and " roast veggies were dried". Top it off our meals were lukewarm. Absolutely horrendous. Never go there ever again.

Great value for the money. The only star missing is because of the precooked meat was a little bit cold. Overall the meals are pretty good. Thank you.

Got the opportunity to stay here during the Flood evacuation, staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure our comfort during a tough time.

Took quite a long time to get our meals. Steak was perfect, roast was nearly cold. Staff lovely.

Received great service and food was excellent. Salmon was a good choice and cooked perfectly. Would return for satisfying meal.

Food's not great.
Asian salad with spring rolls had too much chilli to enjoy the other flavours (and I like chilli).

Seems good place however waited nearly 40mins for my meal. When I approached the device counter to ask about it I was told sorry the person on the pass had spiked the order when it came in by accident. My order was rushed out and the processed ch8cken smitzel was still dripping with fryer oil and not very pleasant. Salad was small with mushy cucumber and the gravy was more like brown flavoured water

The staff were friendly. We both ordered the seafood plate. The grilled prawns were delicious. Unfortunately, the red emporer and the squid were so overcooked we needed a steak knife to cut them. The chips were good, the salad abysmal, a pile of leaves and two cherry tomatoes. Consequently, we left hungry. A shame.
