Great venue. TAB, KENO and gaming facilities. Meals were great. Staff very friendly & helpful. Steve behind the bar had the patrons served quickly. No line ups. Live music was a bonus. Highly recommend.

Ordered the $12 Med-well steak, and it came out rare and cold. It was disgraceful. There's no care for their customers' food.

Came in for dinner tonight with family for a party, and overall experience was amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful, one worker especially helped us at our table with boxes and bags to take food home.
Food was yummy and filling! I got a large sized Parma that took up my whole plate, worth the money.
Recommend this place always for food and service!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They have a wonderful menu which is varied and it's easy to order. They had a fantastic ham raffle, one of the best I've seen. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Meals were okay.
Cold potato, very pepperary pumpkin, and also cold. Schnitzel was nice. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Food was average at best. Kids meals were probably better than the steaks. I wouldn't say it was overly busy, I've handled busier and still managed to serve good food. Gravys are nice at least.

Me and friends visited here to have steak. It was really delicious and juicy. Try it on Monday or Tuesday as there is an offer for this dish. I would recommend everyone to have a bite here.

I had lunch with my mum. We had the lunch time special for $12, the pork roast was delicious and a good serving size.
If you were to order off the main menu it's expensive.

Great place for a large group to meet for a cheap meal. We had the pizza - prawn and pancetta dal verde (minutes the pancetta) , which was a prawn and creamy base, and it was very good. Also had the crumbed fish which was good, but not great. Just be careful where you sit. If you're too close to the back door you'll get cigarette smoke wafting in, that spoilt it for us and we had to move.

Coffee was ok (ordered a mocha) - I might have to try this place in the morning to see if there is a difference in the taste of the coffee (in which case, I'd change the rating to a 5/5).

Scones were ok too (normally one would have cream too - i.e. butter, jam and cream) - but I wouldn't hold it against the place (but something to consider to elevate the offering).

Plenty of food options here too if one were keen to eat (the usual pub / club food - like the schnitty etc).

Where this place wins, in terms of ratings is, a good view of the lawn bowls, friendly staff, and the beach (facing east). Pull up a table and just enjoy a good chat with a friend with an ok coffee.

Generally the demographic is an older one - but it's good to see a place where the elderly can enjoy a nice, safe and laidback atmosphere - away from the heat in a cool, A/C place.

The Lagoon Street outdoor area is 1st class, with plenty of space, the seating is excellent and the Pizza was sensational. The playground for the children is an added bonus as well.

Had 350gm Chicken Schnitzel from Red Sands. Bit of a wait, understandable being a large crowd. Worth it, yes, I was happy to dine here.

A truly amazing club. Great food, bars and gaming. All staff at all levels are top notch people

I ate at Red sands and found the meal to be average I got burger it came out with cheese no salad at all and a very small amount of chips. My wife had dry roast pork with tasteless gravy wont be back to eat but the club is very nice with polite staff

What a nice club can't belive this is so close to home and I havnt been in 10 years living here. Love the outdoor lagoon great for the kids. We now go for coffee during the week too. Its one of the nicest coffees I've had in a long time.
Definetly a club that has been reinvesting the money to expand the club!

This is a huge venue with heaps of different spaces and entertainment facilities.
The bistro and cafe serve modern pub style Australian cuisine like burgers, steak, schnitzel and pasta, as well as a few Asian inspired dishes. As you'd expect at a bistro like this, the meals are ample and come delivered quick and hot. Most mains are $20+ but there are a few dishes that are cheaper.
We came on a Saturday night and they had an old school rock and roll band in one of the bar areas.
They also have a huge indoor lawn bowls green, and a large number of competition dartboards along one side. There's an outdoor green too, just out the back.
There is a smaller restaurant and outdoor seating area with a kids play area too. They have a massive screen for sports and a separate bar.

Great upgrade very modern and inviting. Staff were great at front desk plus service was good. Only problem I have is the taxi stand there was a taxi driver blocking the exit and wouldn't move so I had to Hope out and ask him to more over.

Now this is the best lawn bowls club I have been. you can bowl indoor and out great food friendly staff and the bowler's also amazing

Good club, nice, big, clean. But guys, sort the food situation out! On 2 different occasions Ive been here, the first I sent the food back it was so bad, 2nd time was worse but I just didnt eat it, I should have known better. Not hard to serve decent food. Its really not that hard.

Been here a few times as a bowls spectator.Great place always plenty of parking.Staff are fantastic. Especially in the cafe, if they don't have it ready in the window, they will gladly make it up for you with a smile. Extra nice coffee too.The friendliness great service great food great beer I'm joining this club.!

Very quiet, entertainment was right up there with the WORST I've ever heard the lady sounded like she was choking a cat. Such a shame as going back 10 years ago it was 100% the place to go. Very open planned and had full bands and great entertainment but now unless you are eating or playing the poker machines it pretty much has no where to sit and enjoy yourself. Not to mention the worst thing they have ever done there is get rid of the all you can eat restaurant leaving you with very limited and basic meals that aren't priced accordingly..keep the glam of the place but open it back up how it used to be like the good old days.
