Use to be my favourite. Club staff always friendly. Eaten here many times. However last experience in the bistro was terrible. What happen? Not even close to good now. Ordered gnocchi only to leave them as they were mainly flour based with little potato. Not enjoyable. The snapper we ordered didn't smell pleasant. The pizza base was covered in char as the oven hadn't been cleaned of soot. Overall seems the kitchen didn't care much and it showed. Playground is great for kids. Look forward to much better reviews before I go back.

First time coming here and wouldn't come back. We were trying to find a place with an indoor play area for our 1 and 2 year old while we could grab a drink or a bite to eat on a cold day. Got there at 11am and the lady at the desk told us where the play area was so we started heading that way to then just be stopped by her 3 minutes later saying we can't go to the play area as it's not open till 12. Funny thing was another mum who heard the lady said her kids were playing in there and I also saw another family head into the play area. But the lady at the desk had it in for us and said we couldn't go in because the restaurant was not open. Don't have a play area in a spot where the children can't access it all the time while you are open. Completely nonsense.

Really long queue to order food but the line moves fast. Order food early before you go to the bar for your drink. They have sparkling water on tap. Wait for food is long on busy nights. Massive playground for the kids. Great service.

We ate at the Brasserie, Granatas. The staff were friendly and helpful and tried to offer good service despite the lack of support from the kitchen. The food took almost an hour (for 4 adult meals plus 1 kid meal ): the steak was over cooked and dry and the pizza was salty, although the crust was perfect. The one saving grace was that the kid's meal arrived quickly.

Its ok, the food isnt bad, you have two options you can go chinese upstairs or downstairs for pasta, burgers, steaks etc.
Service is quite good, deserts are good with coffee - good coffee.
Overall a good night for dinner and maybe a flutter on the pokies is a good casual night out.

The review is regarding the Baysia Chinese restaurant within the Canada Bay Club.

My family and I used to eat at the restaurant 5+ years ago. We stopped visiting due to multiple instances of incorrect final bills.

On more than 3 or 4 occasions we were charged in excess of $15-$25 more than what we ordered.

All bills are handwritten by staff. We would need to address the inconsistency and have a staff member recalculate our bill in front of us to reach a correct amount.

We decided after 5 years that we would revisit. To our surprise we were once again billed $15 over our correct total. The man at the register recalculated the bill in front of us and blamed an "extra number" as the reason for the overcharge. Once again these bills are not itemised on a till and are all handwritten.

This is not an isolated incident and it is evident that this restaurant consistently overcharges their customers. If you do visit Baysia please check your bill with caution by manually calculating everything you ordered. I would not recommend visiting.

Friendly local club. Always come here with my grandparents for a filling meal. Nice and clean environment. Plenty of parking. Good accessibility for the elderly.

I have been a member of this beautiful club for close to 15 years I have seen it grow from a peaceful club a bit stale at first to a massive change for the better today thanks to new CEO
AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS THAT HAVE GIVEN THE CLUB a much needed improvement . And that's what we now have great entertainment , dancing, great coffee, brasserie has improved and the food is great, the Chinese restaurant serves good tasty food. I found the staff very friendly and ready to help , all I can say now is come and visit and enjoy the atmosphere of Canada bay club.

I have personally know Tom for over 30 years and to date he is the most amazing, respectful, caring human I know.
His character and charisma is beyond words and the energy he brings with his music and personality is the absolute greatest!
The happiness you feel in the room whilst Tom is singing away brings this total joy that no money can buy.
Allegations like this are completely disgusting and there must be other motives behind this. I'm sure there are lots of others who would agree with me ??'???'?!!

The food and environment were excellent. The only disappointment was the front service. We came here on Tuesday night. One of us didn't bring ID. She gave us terrible tone and bad attitude. We decided to leave but she let us in at the end. We're definitely not going back

We did not mind that we were not allowed in because of the ID problem. The women on the front desk spoke to us in a bad tone. And was really rude and racist that's the reason for the 1 star review.

Attended with a friend and was harassed all night in gaming. Manager was very hostile and unfriendly. Was constantly approached and questioned without ordering anything or calling for service. Do not recommend if you wanted to player poker machines while having a few drinks. Workers and the manager on duty don't seem to understand proper RSA procedures and will harrass you if you seem slightly buzzed...

This place has really gone down hill recently under the new management. The food in the bistro is totally over priced and of average quality and the bar has a very poor and limited range of drinks.
The management have absolutely no idea about customer service and hire the most incompetent and comical floor staff.
I have been a member here for many years, but since the new management has come in, I will never return. They totally ruined my family's night recently due to their comical incompetence, and when I made a complaint, the 'CEO' called and argued with me.

There are so many better club options in the area than this place. It is a very sad story as I used to very much like it here.
The Chinese restaurant is still very good though. I fear for their future under this current management though.

Very average food, they need a new chef. Restaurant was pretty empty for a Club, this place should be pumping for a Sunday lunch like when we use to come here years ago. Ordered 7 dishes & only 1 was nice

Food is way too overpriced, the only good things to highlight were the arancini and the pizzas are cooked well. The eggplant parmigiana tastes nice but 2/3rds is just the sauce - why not serve it with some bread? The pasta is also very undercooked, not even close to al dente which is a shame cause it has good flavour. Portions are too small for the price paid. Appreciation for the waiting staff, very good service and polite but the lady at the front who "attempted" to help us with signing in was pretty rude and aggressive like damn, I'm just trying to have some nice dinner. If you're not a member, prepare to get grilled for no reason but the other worker on duty was great. If you work the front desk, shouldn't you be welcoming since you create the very first impression of the business? Unfortunately, a bit of a let down

Great facility in a unreel location with a beautiful view. Staff are very helpful. I went to a conference there and it was set up very nicely. Had all the services snacks coffee. I would definitely have a function there.

Nice venue and great atmosphere. Staff are friendly and make the experience quite enjoyable. The food is desent and reasonably priced. The quality of the meals is simplistic at best and I question the freshness of some of the seafood meals. Would I go back? Yes but only because of the beautiful venue and wonderful staff.

The food is definitely a level above other clubs. And there is table service for food and drinks. Such a nice change of having to line up !! We have been doing more and more catch ups here with family and friends. One of the best clubs we are a member of.

A place we love going too with wonderful food and service. Christmas was beautiful and love the extra they organised to make it even more special.

We had sea food platter it could have been better like some calamari,octopus,fish and some chips but not too bad to eat value for money

Food in the bistro is very average.
We spent over $500 for 4 people and 3 kids.
We sent back the $50 rib eye as it tasted boiled.
The oyster were warm when served.
The ribs were cold and average.
Seriously guys the food used to be good, now it's gone down hill very quickly. You should be ashamed. Especially charging the prices you are.

Attended a function here during the evening. The environment was pleasant and suited the function. The food was good - could have been more plentiful and varied but that is probably a function of the organisers than the club itself. The recent renovations help the look and feel of the club and there is plenty of parking off-street, despite many people fighting for on-street parking!

Great venue for community events. Good location. The Chinese food is the very 80's style mongolian lamb type stuff, not flavoursome by today's standards but probably suited to the palate of the clientele.

Went here for a Sunday lunch for a birthday celebration. Bring an ID if you are not a member and you leave more than 5 km away from the place.

My order was Chicken Boscaiola. The grilled chicken is from the breast part which was okay. The sauce brought everything together for the dish. The amount of chips was also okay. For the price, it was a bit on the high side but I guess that should be expected.

It has a nice Chinese restaurant, a bistro, and a gaming area that kids can play in. Prices are reasonable and they are a good place to have a staple night out meal with the family.

I discourage going to the bistro on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday because it can be quite busy those days. The food and drink is usually consistent, and I enjoy a good pizza, pasta, burger, or steak and chips at the bistro.

The Chinese restaurant staff are quite friendly and it is a much quieter space upstairs so I recommend that over the bistro. Tuesday is a good day to go :). Drinks staff are friendly too.

Upstairs is a Chinese restaurant with great food, highly recommend. Food comes quick and service is great. Only problem is you'll probably walk out wishing you didn't eat so much.

Great club,food is excellent,one star taken off for mens bathroom/taps not repaired for long time and not always clean.
Waiter's and Waitress are great go beyond their job to help.
Front desk staff most are nice and polite,there is couple that are very blunt,overall nice newish club.

I absolutely love this local and cozy club of mine and I am really impressed with the fantastic facilities for the children here! There is an Amazing play house here and a Kidzone game room. This club is fantastic to celebrate your child's birthday party, christening or other type of event for young and old!�'�‍�'�‍�'�‍�'�
The food is great, and now there is really good entertainment that has returned here once again.
Fantastic up stairs outdoor setting with lovely views of the sky and over looking the golf course.
The staff are also lovely here. Such a pleasure to be a member here
