I haven't had the pleasure of Cardiff Wests before so today my partner and I decided to give it a go.

We enjoyed a lunch, I had the lasagne but it was so garlicky I couldn't eat too much of it. It was so bitter I can still taste it at 9pm !

My partner enjoyed his grilled chicken though, no complaints!

Then we sat on some lovely big "throne" chairs near a window as we had come from a funeral this morning and wanted to decompress with a drink. We were actually having a lovely time until some old bloke came over and- politely - told us we were in his spot and that he sits there everyday because that's where the best internet signal is.

This bloke was actually of the mind to take the chair my bag was on. It was rather rude considering the place was empty and he could have sat anywhere else. We didn't make an issue of it as we were already emotionally overwrought so decided to get a dessert.

We waited as long as the guy who grew a beard waiting for service and when no one appeared we went home. It left a more bitter taste in our mouth than the overly garlicky lasagne. Sorry to say, we probably won't be back which is a shame because the Tex Mex menu loomed really interesting

Great hospitality. Lovely surroundings. Great place to eat. Just had one problem, there was one girl who was cleaning the tables and approached me and told me I wasn't able to sleep in the comfy chairs. She didn't give me a chance to say I was tired in between having chemo, that my car was unavailable and we had to be out of our accommodation by 10am. She was very rude.

Most amazing venue! The tex Mex restaurant food is absolutely fantastic. The staff and team are so nice. We love it here!

We went here as cardiff rsl was a 30min wait for lunch on a Tuesday. Service was good. Would be good if they put gluten-free option on their menu.food was nice and ok priced.

This place is a typical club. The food dishes have generous portions. The atmosphere is basic with raffles in the background. Get a beeper when you order your food. Discounted prices for members. If you live in the area, drop in, it's a friendly place

On Saturday we decided to try the new Craft beer place at West's Cardiff, what a great atmosphere it's very spacious with comfortable seating nice choice of beers plus the food looked delicious. Would've eaten in there but we had a booking in the Tex mex

Spent a mid-week afternoon here with friends. The hot chocolate is to die for. Atmosphere was pleasant. Heaps of parking at the time I went, but on a Saturday night, I would Imagine it would be at a premium. Smaller than I expected, but clean, comfortable, and not cluttered.

Make me feel welcome, great value and can't speak highly enough of the staff. Recommended ??'?

Had a great experience here on a Friday night, I recommend T-Bones restaurant for an extensive Mexican menu; quick service too but there a few other food businesses inside to select from.
There's a "brewery" inside connected to a huge screen providing different sports to view on the one wall, pool tables, arcade games, pokie machines and parking directly out the front.

Amazing food, must get the ribs! Huge portion and you can doggy bag what you can't finish. Great meal and decor. Definitely will be back again!

Dined in for lunch.Service was great.I had lambsfry and bacon,my sister had bangers and mash.Lovely and hot.Didnt wait long for meals.Also on menue was fish,snittys,hamburgers @chips.I will definately go back.I will try the TBone night resturant next time

T-bones is amazing. The food is so good and value for money with size you get.
Big arse burrito was.....well big arse/massive.

New poker/games room with 4 arcade machines. Pin ball, and air hokey and pool. Kinda cool. New sports bar/ mini brewery best in Cardiff area for sure. Good value food

Disappointing Tex Mex. Very expensive ribs and steak and definitely not free range produce. Sauce on the ribs way too sickly sweet. Very average and small salad. Service not great. Wouldn't go back to eat there as not value for money.

Where souls go to die. But it had excellent service, the bar staff were truly great. The coffee was mediocre, but the venue was peaceful and pleasant enough to sit in while I waited for my car to be done at the mechanic. I spent my time enjoying the outdoor heating and listening to the dulcit tones of Cardiff's residence putting their money through the pokies. If you don't mind pokies culture it's a great place.

I found the food lovely, service was great however I felt a bit deceived by the menu. It had a list of items that went with what I ordered but when Paying for it found that two of the items cost an extra $2. It's not the money factor, it's that it wasn't mentioned on the menu, menu made it sound like all included as another diner thought the same & even when the waitress asked if we wanted it she never said it actually cost more. Only found that out when paying.
I think it should be written on the menu clearly when things cost extra otherwise it's a false menu & restaurant is making extra easy money.

Really quick service. Food was quality. But I would say on the expensive side.

Drove over an hour after making a booking for family to celebrate birthday dinner only to be told no we can't come in due to vaccination status even though the restrictions have been lifted and I am unable to recieve the vax . Had the manager tell us that calls are made to confirm vaccination status which we did not receive. ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THANKS FOR RUINING A BIRTHDAY YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF THIS IS COMPLETE DISCRIMINATION

Nice place to go good food well set out

Everything about this club is 5 stars, my reason for 3 is the food. Very average. The staff are amazing, it is always clean and tidy, and just has a great atmosphere. The kitchen is definitely letting it down though.

Very good Covid safe practices and friendly staff at the front desk. Had dinner at The Kitchen and the prices a quite cheap compared to other restaurants I have dined at. I had the Coconut and Macadamia Crusted Salmon Steak which was delicious and cooked perfectly. It wasn't a huge meal so maybe order a side dish if you have a big appetite.

They are serving small meals now which is great for older people that only like smallish meals 1piece fish small chip small salad or 1slice pork a small serve of vegetables gravy and apple sauce that is great have been enjoying that thurs and sat for a few weeks now my friend has the fish im such a fussy eater and only lke small meals so there is no waste from the old school cost if member is 12 dollars how can u do better well done to west at cardiff love your chefs for the great effort nanny pat

Usually the meals are good but today I had the corned meat and veggies. Meat was tough and inedible and the zucchini was cooked within an inch of its life. Husband had the all day breakfast, eggs undercooked and bacon very fatty. Bread was inedible. Very disappointed.

Great place, convenient location, great food and value for money. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Highly recommended

Would like to thank Erin and Tyler for the amazing service tonight. The food was fantastic and the steak was mouth watering tender. Compliments to the chefs. Great variety of food to choose from and great prices. We are now going to make this our place to eat out. You will not be disappointed you will want to go back Every week.
