We were a table of 12 last Sunday for lunch.
Every meal that came out was disgusting. What a come down for this club. Twice now. Never going back for meals. Two of us waited 40 minutes for roast pork dinner, terrible. Chicken schnitzel was over cooked. Fish dripping oil, all batter, no fish. Hamburger was bland. I could've done a better job. What a shame.???

Ate in bistro for lunch today. I had Roast Pork which was disappointing. Didn't have texture of roast pork more the texture of corned beef. Looked and tasted like boiled meat with no flavour. Hubby had Rissoles and Mash which he said was lovely! I have been having roast pork here for many years. In the past could not fault it. Will not have again

We enjoyed our evening here, family friendly and good portions. worth the visit. A kids play area would have made this the perfect place for a return visit

Food well prepared and delivered to the table on time.Friendly staff too.Virgin pina colada was too watery pine apple and coconut flavours too dilute and not as thick.Also consider replacing pork with something else for non pork eaters.

The worst dining experience I have had. Visited Wests Mayfield this evening. Looking for a cold beer and something to eat, I chose the tex bar and grill. I don't mind paying fur a good feed and I have a 30 year background in hospitality.
If your chef would serve that to a customer they should be ashamed to call themselves a chef.
I ordered the tasting plate which consisted of signature brisket and 1/4 chicken that were both that dry, sausage that was rubbery and cold.
It was served within 4 minutes of me ordering

It was a great Sunday outing. Won 4 prizes in the sunday raffles. The meals were delicious and so big as well. Will definitely be going back.

It's a great place to meet up with family. We have regular get togethers there & everyone has a lovely time. The food is reasonably priced, especially if you're a member & there's a lot of choices. I recommend it for family gatherings as you don't need to book a table.

Yes friendly staff from the reception to the Texas Grilled the food was great and quick.

For $27 you get the world's smallest meal, would not recommend last 3 times we have been here have forgotten a meal twice and doubted when I questioned, then we get a 1/4 of a snitzel would not recommend if you are having a snitty craving

Wife and I had lunch. Meals were well prepared and presented. We both had a coffee which were nicely made and enjoyed. Good value for money.

Enjoyed steak was cooked as requested. Salad was the usual big bag of rocket ect two cherry tomatoes 2 slices of cucumber, and chips. Gravy was confusing as theres was a small bowl of mushrooms and another small bowl of gravy this made mushroom gravy.

Staff was polite and friendly. Plenty of seating.

Beautiful huge club. Room allocated for poker was small though. Haven't tried the food but it looked amazing

Dinner was a disappointment - drive thru takeaway would have been fresher. The $30 chicken snitz and chips were stale, even with sauce, tasted like it was hrs ago and reheated.

Nice and quiet on Tuesday and Wednesday night.

A bit of a disappointing visit, I'm afraid. Our food took ages to come out and, when it did, we were treated to some of the driest garlic bread and chips I've had in a while. Really felt like they made them first and then left them for ages under a heat lamp while they cooked everything else. My steak was just ok. It was cooked properly but very over-priced and I'm not at all convinced it was the cut I ordered.
It was a shame as this is generally a very nice club with a good atmosphere but the food was a real let down.

Thanks to Elizabeth and you amazing magicians in the kitchen at Texas BBQ..ribs/steak combo beat my brother in law who, despite his diminutive stature, is renowned for his ability to put a feed away.. Elizabeth, you are a consummate professional.. we'll be back!

My first time at Wests Mayfield since their renovations. Very helpful staff at the front desk. The lunch was promptly cooked but the portions were rather small, the pepper sauce was virtually tasteless, and the chips were very dry. All the staff were very friendly and hospitable. A good place to catch up with friends.

Great club ,Debbie on the front desk very helpful and Toni and his female co worker ( name unknown ) excellent entertainment with the bingo today (Thursday). And great food in the restaurant served by friendly staff .

Iron Kitchen Resturant has Poor customer service!

This restaurant was displaying menu's with an old Price listing.
When I checked the pricing against the menu there was only a couple of bucks difference for each item, however it's the principal!

They refused to honour the price listing I had.
Poor customer service.

It was ok. Went there with a big group for my Nan's birthday party. We ate from the iron kitchen, the food was average. The staff where really nice and so was the coffee. Definitely not a horrible experience but I would choose a number of other venues over this one.

Wests Mayfields Iron kitchen has a great selection of menu items. The meal was tasteful and well priced. The dining room is set out well with a lot of space to move. The service was fast, not a long wait for your order.
The staff are polite, friendly, helpful and efficient.

Great location. Food delicious. Large meals. Coffee and desserts plenty to chose from. Plenty of seating through out the club. Plenty of Pokies to play. Staff Friendly. Plenty of undercover parking, beside the Indoor Heated Pool. Hotel accommodation.

Wife and I had two different Chicken Schnitzel meals there this evening, both were beautiful. Cheap, good food, good venue. Good discounts for members too.

Easy place to get to,however ws terribly disappointed with the food. They never had food which was on their menu,no roasts,no lambs fry,and settled for a chicken schnitzel which wasn't that great.

Meals were rather large actually. Great! Schnitty Parmy was moist, tender and had a large strip of bacon over it. Loved it. Had the creamy chicken pasta, also well made. Not many people there so came out quick.

Great place. Awesome meals and affordable. Great gambling facilities. Lovely cold tap beer. Its a 10/10 for me. And can watch the Newcastle knights train while sipping a cold one

I visited Wests Mayfield a few times previously, but not for a while, and its sad to see that the quality has dropped. Ordered 2 schnitzels at 6pm, waited an hour for the meal, only to find out it hadnt been put through on the computers. It wasnt the servers fault at all, but I do find the system flawed if its a regular enough occurrence. After fixing the mistake it still took another 15-20 minutes before the meal came out. It was okay, but cold and average, which was disappointing since I usually really enjoy going to Wests restaurants.
