The sheerwood has a great atmosphere and staff are lovely however, they can not catter for food allergies. The lack of options for allergies when it comes to food makes it a stressful experience to order and I understand mistakes happen but simply scrapping away the cheese makes everything contaminated as someone with food allergies this can cause severe reactions. For a venue that's apart the West group the food is very disappointing

The food here was hit and miss depending on the item.
I found it odd that there was no just plain typical chicken schnitzel or pub feed. Not good if you're a picky eater.

Hits:
The bolognese arancini (my favorite)
The S&P prawns (table enjoyed not my type of food)
Woodi burger and fries I enjoyed as well
Kids nuggets, picky eater enjoyed this and said nuggets tasted like schnitzel

Misses:
The herb and garlic cob tasted like tasty cheese on bread and there was no garlic taste.

The chicken wings missed too as the bbq still tasted unseasoned.

The $50 steak. 2 people from our table ordered. One medium rare, the other medium. Received medium and medium done. So ask for one down. The medium was actually delicious but the the other steak was like the complete opposite and was textured so differently. There was no consistency in the cooking. Definitely not worth $50.

Sticky date pudding, again seamed store bought from the shape and dryness, came with a different sauce instead or typical butterscotch, but the vanilla bean ice cream it came with was nice.

Atmosphere and pokies section was good though. So 3 stars for the good parts, just seems to need some consistency in the kitchen and food.

Also like the way the buzzer and table service works, very neat and easy

One of family's favourite dinner place to eat. The food are heaven especially the pork cubes, huge serving of beef nachos. Good service. And pokies after dinner. I highly recommend this place.

We had lunch here today and the food was really nice. The venue is beautiful too. It didn't take long for the food to be prepared. If you become a member, you get a good discount too. It's very well presented and lots of parking. The food is very reasonably priced too. Staff is very friendly too.
