Wyong Rugby League Club - Local Club in Kanwal New South Wales

So my parents and I went out on a Friday night (that happened to be Valentine's Day), so I called them up to see how busy they were. The person on the phone responded with "I don't know what you mean" when I asked..? So I just booked a table. Once we arrived we realised it was REALLY busy and there was a 30 minute wait on food, which was ok as we knew it would possibly be like this (but should've been told on the phone). I ordered the chicken burger but asked for no franks sauce on it, the person who served me was nice about me asking for that and said it happened more than I would think. Once I went to pick up my burger a blonde lady said "no franks sauce?" AND ROLLED HER EYES AT ME? I didn't say anything because I didn't want to cause a fuss but as someone who works in hospitality that is just so uncalled for and disrespectful.

Drove almost an hour North of Newcastle for the Christmas Buffet Lunch. Advertised Lunch for 11:00 am, We lined up at 11:20 am, and got our food at 11:45-11:50.Staff spent more time taking photos than showing any signs of urgency in preparation for the lunch. Snail pace line up to finally get lunch.Some didn't get lunch until 12:00 midday, and 2nd sitting was booked for 1:15pm.Caterers should have set food tables in centre so people could have walked down both sides and got back to their tables to eat with family. Oysters were small but delicious.Prawns were very ordinary, some were frozen and imported when advertised as local and weren't fresh.Hot food was not hot.Desserts were also pretty basic.For $125:00 per head, I would give caterers 2/10.Many elderly could not line up for the food as it took forever , especially those on walking frames, walking sticks etc.I had a knee replacement months ago and struggled to stand for the at least 30 minutes that I had to.We heard so many people complaining amongst themselves, and to staff,on how this dining event was run. Very disappointed and won't be returning.

Won't be back!, got dropped off and the security got the absolute shits because our driver went through wrong way, someone who has never been been there before yet the security insisted our driver stopped so they could talk to them like they committed a crime or some crap, the venue was completely dead on a saturday night and there was more security then patrons, felt like I was been watched the whole time and it was very uncomfortable having the same security hover around you when your just playing the pokies. Can see why most people would rather stay home these days, it's not worth it going out to places like this. It's not fun.

The Saturday night we were there had the Anthem of OZ band playing lots of our favourites, and it was free, we danced along the music, had a fantastic time.

Staff are absolutely terrible. Let people inside the establishment but then refuse to serve anything to them insisting they are intoxicated. No staff willing to discuss the issue. Only positive was the lovely security guard Joe
