Yamba Golf & Country Club - Local Club in Yamba New South Wales

I recently ran a corporate work event at Yamba Golf and Country Club and can highly recommend this affordable location. Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. The convenience of the restaurant was ideal and the food was great!
The space was excellent for our working group of 20+ and was private and easy to access. I would definitely hold another function here should the opportunity arise.

My husband and I went to the Sea fire restaurant at the Yamba golf club as a special night out. I saw on entering the restaurant there was a chef's special of octopus, chorizo and potato for $22. I said to my husband that I would try that. He ordered the sirloin steak with veggies. When our order arrived we were so shocked at what I got. It was an entree size which only covered half a bread and butter plate. We queried the waitress and she said we had only ordered the small dish. My husband had specifically said he wanted the large dish. The woman, Karen who took the order came to us and admitted it was her mistake, apologised, end of story. No redemption offer of a side salad, nothing. The sign did not say there were different sized servings at different prices either. My husband's steak was great but the vegetable side of it was Wobegon. Sorry Golf club, we are regulars and like your club but having a meal there was very disappointing .

Visiting family and decided to play a round of golf. Immediately came back to do it again the next day.

Unbelievable value for money on the course, well maintained everything.
I couldn't fault it, played some great golf and will be coming back.

What has happened to Yamba golf club??
The experience started poorley when we waited 30 minutes for the courtesy which didn't turn up and we ended up finding our own way.
We attended for dinner 12/10/24.

How can you charge people $26 for a cold pork schnitzel like this? Have you ever seen gravy that looks as terrible in this photos?

I spoke to staff about this and they all related this to new management (GM).

We use to enjoy coming to this club , but let down with the care factor from them.

Nowhere is perfect but this was pretty close! The tree boxes, fairways and greens were all well manicured, and the gardens surrounding the fairways were lovely too.
The course itself would be a joy to play if you were on your game. It punishes you otherwise - first hand experience!!
The food at the club house was very good and we'd be happy to dine there again.
We'll be back!
