My husband and I went to the Sea fire restaurant at the Yamba golf club as a special night out. I saw on entering the restaurant there was a chef's special of octopus, chorizo and potato for $22. I said to my husband that I would try that. He ordered the sirloin steak with veggies. When our order arrived we were so shocked at what I got. It was an entree size which only covered half a bread and butter plate. We queried the waitress and she said we had only ordered the small dish. My husband had specifically said he wanted the large dish. The woman, Karen who took the order came to us and admitted it was her mistake, apologised, end of story. No redemption offer of a side salad, nothing. The sign did not say there were different sized servings at different prices either. My husband's steak was great but the vegetable side of it was Wobegon. Sorry Golf club, we are regulars and like your club but having a meal there was very disappointing .
