Spent nearly 200aud for the meals for 3 but very disappointed. We ordered the food and we came a bit late as we just finished work. Other meals were ok except mine. I ordered the med well steak and it came out as med. Raised the complains to the bistro manager and the way she explained as it was all my false as I came late and the steak is OVERCOOKED. I tried to explain to her that my steak is med well but she was like nothing I can do and left. Then she came back to the counter saying back to Andy - who i raised the complains with. Really a poor management. I came all the way to the kitchen and let her know that really not satisfied with her explaination. How comes i came late and the med well steak left there and became med steak???

I love all the staff at the bar but today for a first time I got really pissed off at the management and customer service at Yarraville Club (expecially the bistro manager - Alyc?)

Great greeting for a first-time visitor at the front door ( I believe it was his last night).
Grest service in Bistro and bar. The food was above club average, and the service was fantastic and certainly not annoying. I had a beer, fish and chips, and Bomb Alaska Vintage!
The show from Karise Eden was amazing with a friendly crowd and layout. She should be way more famous. She is an Australian icon. The support act was ok.
The safe feeling at the front door when getting Uber home was also pleasing.
The only annoying part of the night was there was some confusion between club's seating plan and Try Booking Web site. Thank you. I'm glad I ventured west.

We came here for dinner last night as we are staying in Yarraville, my partner and I both had black opal wagyu steaks, they were cooked to perfection and so delicious. The staff were phenomenal and so nice! The atmosphere of the bistro was beautiful, dessert was so delicious, thank you for having us! We will be sure to come back again!

Review for the Bistro:
Had the retro Garlic Prawns and Spicy Tiger Prawn Linguine, a garden salad plus a couple of drinks.
Food done well in a relaxed atmosphere.
The drinks unfortunately was not as described albeit still refreshing.
Well priced portions and friendly staff. Prompt service.

I used to love this place. Not anymore. Staff truly are wonderful. But the food. The Parma wasn't real chicken, basically the same as the supermarket fake chicken. And the pork ribs. Oh golly, so old and stunk. Poor quality full of fat and inedible. Please change the food quality to what it used to be as everyone is talking about the poor food quality. We were so hungry. Wasn't worth eating as both sick afterward

The Bistro has great food and vibe. We went on a Thursday which is burger & ribs night. The ribs were excellent. My partner enjoyed his Parma. The girls also liked their vegan burger and chicken schnitzel burger.

Awesome venue, very and very classic food. Superb staff and friendly atmosphere. Something that surprise me was the head chef was walking around and talk to the guest.

We had a reservation for father's day today, pax 8. Food was great without any delay. Service was exceptional to adults and my children.

I found this venue to be asthetically very pleasant. It had a clean, calm vibe with its style.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The menu had ample choice, with most of our group opting for a seniors meal.
The quality & presentation of the food were of a high standard and delicious.
Prices were very reasonable and with particularly good senior meal deals/ combos.
The bathroom was spotless, and l had to mention as l have never been so impressed with the decore of a bathroom.

I had the best porterhouse steak I have ever eaten there. I'm going back tonight to order the same. (Hoping it wasn't a fluke!) Standby for report number 2 of the same meal!!! Edit: Restaurant, not the functions room.

The lovely young lady who served us in the restaurant was truly a Gem.

On a not so nice note the older lady in the main bar looked at us as if we were ratbags before we even ordered our first beers very unwelcoming!
Strange how one young lady can make it so enjoyable wanting to come back to the venue.

Steaks were a bit pricey. Staff were great! Recent visit had prawn linguine, spicy, oily with plenty of prawns. Very tasty! Photo is of half eaten plate, forgot to take a pic at the start . Staff once again excellent!

Food was okay but we enjoyed the entrees a little more than the mains. Staff were great and attentive. Understandably they had been victim of the current chip/fries shortage and they staff made every effort to let us know our options before ordering, which was appreciated.

Great venue. Went for a private work function and the atmosphere at this place us great. Great assortment of 10 beers on tap, champagnes, wine and the usual faves. The finger food served was fresh, great quality and tasted great.

Attended the children's holiday function. It was well organised and incredibly well priced. Kids had a great time learning about reptiles. Their lunch was generous. Overall I will certainly return with kids next time.

Fabulous experience here for the first time on the weekend! Large spacious venue and dinner and show was really well planned. The food was better than expected, served in a timely manner and cooked to perfection. For dinner and show there are tables at the front providing the best viewing experience. Rally up close and personal. Staff are also super friendly and helpful.

Very friendly service and Senior meal prices catered for mostly at $19.00. Also it is refurbished and looking 'cool'.

I was invited to the Yarraville club at the last minute by a friend to go see Effie and have a yummy meal. Being a coeliac is difficult at the best of times but the staff made sure to accommodate me so I could enjoy the meals that my friend paid for and even took my steak back and cooked it a bit longer as I'm pregnant. It was a great event and a great night out and will definitely be going back to the yarraville club x

We attended a funeral service at the Yarraville Club. It was an excellent setting in a spacious area with perfect seating arrangements in groups of two, three, four etc....after the service the congregation were advised to leave the room make their farewell and then return to a set up of various tables for all to relax and consume the excellent and abundant food and drinks supplied.An excellent service in many ways!

We ate our very enjoyable and generous meals outside. Not sure if outside seating was the norm but it was very comfortable and the service was friendly. The meals were great and we would not hesitate to return if outside seating was available.
