If you are over 40 don't bother, yes a good bar with great bands but they have an image where they don't want old (over 40) people in the place. I have been there many times but lately somethings changed, when asking why the exclusion (not intoxicated, with the wife, early in the night) it must be because I'm over 40... 20 & 30 something only... very sad... I would love a response from management to explain this position as it is disappointing that it appears to be going down that path. I look forward to hearing why.

They always have such good vibes, the bartenders are fantastic (especially the short girl with a half bleached bob) and the music is great. Unfortunately the seccys hate their lives and are super rude but other than that, a guaranteed fab night out every time.

I love this bar, but it's lost its character. I mean to say that it doesn't feel like a real bar anymore. Need to leave it before all the photos were taken down. Where's all the bras on the ropes? What happened to them? What makes a bar is character. This bar has lost its character.

Usually a lovely place to visit for a drink and live music, but this venue is too orientated on looking after staff who are drinking or bar staff's friends. Tonight they are sharing McDonald's over the bar. Three out of 5 draught drinks are unavailable. Only pints are available for other draught drinks - unless you are a friend of th e staff. Disappointing.
