Lovely, family-friendly pub with a good range of drinks, pleasant staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The bistro offers a nice range of reasonably priced food and the bottle is tip-top.

Great pub. We arrived in the morning after having been up all night at work and then a delayed flight from Melbourne.
Upon walking in were immediately greeted by the friendly Pauline and made to feel welcome.
Checking our watches we decided that it must have been "beer o'clock" somewhere in the world and ordered a drink.
Got talking to Pauline and to Bevan behind the bar and the time just flew past. We ordered a meal, which was delicious and then checked in to our Air BnB accommodation 10 minutes walk away.
After having a nap and freshening up we returned to the pub, where my wife's dinner was free because it was her birthday.
Bevan, now off duty, remembered us and introduced us to his lovely wife Carolyn. We had a few drinks and ended a big day feeling like we had lived in Launceston all our lives.
What a great pub and what great people - sensational!

Had the pork knuckle and pork ribs. Very delicious ! Enjoyed it and generous portion. Though the waiting time is a little long given that there aren't many occupied tables.. But we enjoyed it thoroughly. Compliments to the staff and chef. Will be back for the wood fire pizzas soon ^^.

Lovely meal but my fish was soggy..
Others at my table complained that their chicken parmi didn't have enough sauce and that it was dry.
Lots of flies made it frustrating.
Nice vibe in there.
Have had the pizzas before and they are definitely the star of the menu.
