Came here for dinner with my family and young brothers (5yo and 8yo, all neurodivergent). Amazing service, especially from Alice, great beer and some of the best pub food I've ever had. I ordered the sirloin and it was cooked to perfection, my brothers were able to get kids meals and it was a perfect environment for them to not bother other people's nights. Every staff member was so very accommodating and I would highly recommend

I lost my smartphone and was filled with anxiety, but the staff here kept my smartphone safe and even charged it. I am impressed by their kindness.

Great local pub with rooms in the CBD. Cheap beer and good food if you're in the area.

Expect this establishment to be dismissive even when they have hardly any patrons and selective treatment. The bar tender and licencee had no clue of the significance of the bars name bearing heritage and history. Also dismissing a customer who' may have significant injuries unrecognisable to the naked eye is an embarrassment to the staff and institution. Siege of Orleans fix them please.

I like the Agincourt but they r not Coeliac friendly.

The menu is usually wrong. The wrong chicken wings sauce was listed as gluten free for a year. Eventually I talked to the Chef who said, yeah we know it's wrong.

Greeeeeat! ?

Not allowed to talk to the Chef as most Coeliacs do if they r unsure. So u have to talk to the staff downstairs, who run upstairs to ask every time, if I want to order something new.

I mean seriously? No one has a mobile? What a joke.

Takes abt 10mins, so I stick to the same thing every week. Steak is one of the few options anyway. ?

I'd been in for lunch before & it's great little venue with really good value food, super tasty & generous portions.
I came in on a Saturday night to check out some live bands in 'The Alley' & it was so much fun.
Awesome music, great service & cheap drinks!

I have walked past this pub many times and it looked a bit grimey but I'm glad I finally went in. Upstairs is nice and seems to have a mixed crowd with many students. Food was very good and they have weeknight meal specials that all look good value. Schnitzel was tasty.

We came for dinner on a Sunday evening with a couple of neurodivergent children, and the staff were absolutely amazing. They were beyond understanding, very accommodating and even went out of their way to give the kids colouring in bags and icecream.

Our meals were so lovely, perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned and huge portions. Could not recommend more highly. Massive praise to the staff (and chefs) for making it a lovely experience.

your one job is to serve clean beer to patrons. Absolutely filthy lines, I haven't tasted a beer that foul in a long time. Downstairs toilets reek of urine and masked by cheap air freshener throughout the bar area. When there's dozens of other choices to drink in Sydney, make the better choice and don't drink here.

Only had lunch there.
Good chicken wings of various flavours with good beer. Prompt service. What more can you ask for from a pub?

The food offered excellent value, and the specials on the menu were truly fantastic. The serving sizes were generous, and each dish tasted absolutely delicious.

Not only was the food great, but the drinks were also reasonably priced, especially considering the prime location of the hotel. It was refreshing to find a place that didn't break the bank when it came to enjoying a nice beverage.

The staff at the Agincourt Hotel were friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. In particular, I would like to commend Julian for his outstanding manners and helpfulness. He went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was enjoyable, and his friendly demeanor added an extra touch of hospitality.

Overall, I highly recommend the Agincourt Hotel for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The combination of excellent value for food, delicious specials, reasonable drink prices, and friendly staff, particularly Julian, make it a truly memorable place to visit.

I will definitely be returning to the Agincourt Hotel in the future, and I encourage others to do the same.

Keep up the great work guys!

So there is the old trick of, you order something like an alcoholic ginger beer or CC and dry off tap, and they might try put the ice in automatically. This venue, the bartender refused to pour me a full schooner of CC and dry without adding ice. I'm not sure how many venues that it's standard practise for but just shows that a venue cleaning up from low socio-economic on pokies still willing to take you for an extra inch on their margins with the drinks. In my opinion, woeful experience

Deliberate false advertising. Their poster, which I took a picture of in August '22, claims $5 burgers on Thursdays but when you go inside they say it's only with the purchase of a drink. When I said that it didn't say that on the poster outside I was told "it should say that". It's now November and the poster is still there.

Went there for the $5 burgers and they were amazing! Would highly recommended this place as it was quick service, not too busy and delicious food! Only downside was you had to buy a drink in order to obtain the deal (which is not as advertised).

The security guy at the front door needs to chill. Arrived at the pub with two ladies, we hadn't had anything to drink and the guard says "why are you here?" In an aggressive tone and stops us opening the door. I replied "to drink beer and grab some dinner" "what else do you do here?"
He then looked us up and down and allowed us entry. No need for that kind of aggressive behaviour, he seemed to be wanting to start a fight. We just wanted to have a good night with our friends from Melbourne. Disappointing.

This place was an absolute hole and disappointment. We waited outside for 1 hour for an event we booked and paid for weeks in advance. Shocking service from the managers and the security guards. Would not recommend this place in the slightest.

Quickly walked in to use ATM. There was a good sized crowd enjoying a trivia night. The atmosphere felt rather warm & they looked like they were having a blast. I may join them q night soon...

The world's best and worst message is delivered by one sentence: nothing lasts forever. Great experience on a Schnitzel Wednesday. Big portion of a good meal with smile and rock and roll.
I cannot wish more for tonight. Try it and continue the discussion

Recently hired the upstairs function room for a private event. The space was perfect and Dean and the team at The Agincourt made the whole process easy. Nothing was a problem for them. Food was tasty too. The proximity to Central Station made transport easy for the guests.
Highly recommended

This is a pub that is open late. It is a compelling reason to go there when Sydney nightlife is a bit quiet. Unfortunately due to arbitrary reasons, gambling. It does not want people to enjoy a pint when they are celebrating a conclusion of intense work. Despite moderate intoxication. One staff member relied on RSA as a quasi legal defence to deny service because we were not gambling.

Good Vibe. A dash high on prices, unsure if their is a beer of the week or a happy hour. They have good English Football coverage and a nice mix of other sports on large clear screens. Lots of effort put into supporting their club music. Time for the restrooms to be refurbished. Great Location, never too long to order a drink, open late, close to buses, trains, taxis, light rail and ride share.
