I was left disappointed by what should be a gem of a local bar. The external signboard was promoting Sangria, so I naturally ordered one, only to be told it was the traditional recipe of just red wine and coke. I duly explained the actual traditional recipe, and the manager decided to engage me in an argument. Anyway moving on I went in search of a beer instead. Only mid strength on tap and Corona in the fridge was the only beer in a bottle. I'm in Perth so expected to see Little Creatures, Gage Roads, etc, even a 150 Lashes, but alas no. So, I went for a glass of Shiraz. A Kalleske Moppa from the Barossa. $15 a glass (measured of course) for a wine that retails for $24.99 a bottle. Someone needs to get hold of this bar and fix the basics because it has great potential.
