First impressions were pretty good, Albion was well priced and the room was spotlessly clean and smelt great. However the bed is very uncomfortable for two people and my husband and I did not sleep well. The online booking information stated there were streaming services, but we didn't realise until after the reception closed at 5pm that you had to get a special code from the front desk to use the service (why not just give people the code at checking?). We had dinner at the Albion which proclaimed to be an Irish pub - but not one Irish Whisky available over the bar, pray to baby Jesus! Unfortunately, the steaks were very very tough and the salad was very sad. On the up side, the room was clean, the shower was awesome and the staff were nice.

Visited tonight with a group of 12. Had the best time. Food was simply delicious and amazing. I rate the food 10/10. We definitely hold our next get to together here. Thanks guys.

Food is amazing. It feels like what Kalgoorlie might have been in the past.

The food is delicious, pub meals are always fresh, well priced, full if flavours, side salads have many items and are not dry like everywhere else in town. Seriously eat here you won't be disappointed.

A really nice place to stay with large, clean and well-kept rooms that face the inner courtyard or traffic-calmed streets and are therefore very quiet. The parking spaces are in the inner courtyard and the rooms can only be reached from there via attic corridors. Access to the inner courtyard is guarded and is locked at night, which is an excellent solution in terms of security.
The staff is very friendly, always helpful and courteous. A convenient feature is the attached restaurant, which impresses with great food at reasonable prices.

Stayed 1 night with my wife. Very clean and tidy room. Comfortable queen bed with a small kitchen area with jug, microwave and toaster plus the normal tea and coffee inputs.The compound surrounding the motel was locked at night which was reassuring. Unfortunately a local vagabond gained access at 3am and was wandering around the complex ranting and raving whilst checking the various ashtrays outside the rooms for dumpers. He disappeared into the night after this outburst but reappeared in the back lane at 7am the following morning carrying on.in.the same manner again. Overall stay was fine and rate was fair and reasonable. The only detracting feature being the nocturnal visitor and a few loud customers returning to their rooms late in the evening.

Looking for a solid stay in Kalgoorlie? This hotel has tidy rooms with complimentary milk, tea, coffee, and biscuits - who doesn't love a morning dunk with their brew. The showers are top-notch with excellent pressure. the beds were a tad on the firm side but nothing you couldn't deal with. Overall, it's a good option for your Kalgoorlie trip.

We are from Perth but come to Kal a couple of times a year. We come to The Albion for dinner due to its friendly family atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing family dinner.

Amazing food! They have a special each night, so the price is good and the taste and size of the plate is fantastic! We had the Parmi (on Thursday night) and it was delicious!

I've been in Kalgoorlie for a work trip and have visited the Albion for dinner 3 times. Great feeds (not to mention the serving sizes) and pricing. The service is also sensational - special thanks to Shona for such a great experience and customer service. Highly recommend this place and will be returning in the future!

Wasn't overly busy but one of our guests didn't get their meal was given as a takeaway and money returned .
But what was had was delicious

Good service, great selection of drinks, including Hahn 3.5 on tap. Got a bit of surprise with pineapple in the burger. Good venue.

A Great Family friendly pub..and good value meals.

Sunday lunch...menu standard fare, great waitstaff, venue excellent, prices a bit 'exy' for pub fare, and unfortunately the asian chef can't cook a roast meal. But we'll go back!???'???'?

Outstanding, fantastic staff who cannot do enough to make you feel at home, wonderful food, clean rooms, ten out of ten.

The self contained unit (family room) far exceeded our expectations. The kitchenette had microwave, oven, toaster, kettle and refrigerator. It also had the bare essentials. (Maybe a sharp knife could be added). Bed was comfy, plenty of storage if required. A single bed is situated in main room. Lounge and table with 4 chairs. All we needed for our mini holiday. The hotel also has breakfast boxes and packed lunches available to purchase. The staff are very professional and friendly from the front desk to the cleaning staff ??'?. We will most definitely stay here again

Food was mostly good, entrees came at the same time as mains and food should be on proper sized plates not stacked with food falling off on the way to the table
If your going to do ribs they are supposed to be trimmed not have more cartilage than meat.

Fab clean rooms, quiet also with the exception of gents starting cars and trucks for work in early am..

A huge room with plenty of surface space. It's about the least expensive option in the Kalgoorlie Bolder region. The food in the pub is great value.

Great hotel. Large clean rooms, free wifi, free washing machines and dryers, friendly staff, the food at the hotel is close to the best pub food in the area I have tried, large meals, fast quick service, the pub is large and broken into numerous areas, the bar, restaurant dining area , outdoor heated dining area, TAB and front lounge area with a fire place, everything is clean and the staff are all friendly. Highly recommend ??'? ???

The staff were very friendly and the service was great. The rooms are spotless and spacious with clean towels and rooms cleaned daily. Tea, coffee and sugar replenished also daily. The bistro/restaurant is family friendly and the food was good with specials every night. The whole site is spotlessly clean inside and out and that is very important to us. There are camera's everywhere and gates that are locked in the the evening which is great for security reasons. We visited Kal again after 35 years and stayed for 5 nights spending the time roaming around Boulder & Kalgoorlie's tourist sights and thoroughly enjoyed our time and it was nice to go back to the Albion Shamrock Hotel at the end of the day and relax in a comfortable environment.
