Such a lovely gem in Castlemaine! Contactless check-in went seamlessly, and my little family loved the family room! Beds were very comfy and the room was quiet. Renovations have been beautifully done. Owner was so lovely and gave an excellent recommendation for dinner (The Railway Hotel). Everything we needed for breakfast was there. We look forward to coming back one day!

Cute little motel. Very clean and was stocked up with good quality tea, coffee and bathroom toiletries. Easy no fuss checkin. Only problem was parking being slightly narrow once all other guests arrived. Would be heaps better once the front pub/bar is opened, as still a drive to get into the heart of town.

Great location - Saturday Market opposite! Comfortable room (we had a basic room), everything we needed, very friendly and helpful staff.

Loved my stay at The Albion Motel Castlemaine. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making me feel right at home. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment during my stay. I highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a great place to stay with excellent customer service. Will definitely be back for another visit soon!

We stayed at the Albion on a Saturday night! We had a wedding that day and the lovely lady that owned the place let us have a real early check in to get ready and a late check out as we were very hungover!! Room was nice!

Absolutely loved it here. Can't recommend it highly enough. Set on an historic site and only a couple of minutes drive into town, the accommodation is renovated, immaculately clean and so comfortable. Lots of thoughtful touches including the fresh sourdough bread for breakfast. The host Jane, is the loveliest person. We'll definitely be back!

Couldn't ask for better. Perfect girls getaway weekend. We had the family room and it was spacious and comfortable. Jane was the perfect host, she kindly organised some extra treats for our combined 60th birthday. Communication was easy and pleasant. Thank you Jane. Location was great, loved the Saturday morning market directly across the road. Highly recommend. Will be back.

Jane was excellent throughout the entire process. Her communication was great and she was extremely helpful when I booked for a large group. The rooms were nicely renovated and absolutely spotless. Jane is a very friendly host, and there were lots of little extra touches in our room. It was spotlessly clean, comfy bed, nice linen, lovely products and some yummy sourdough from the local bakery with nice condiments. Very quiet location. We would certainly stay again.

Jane is absolutely lovely and the accomodation is newly renovated and comfortable with every little thing thought of. Also, spotlessly clean with good quality linens- and I can be a little fussy about these things. Little private outdoor space out the back of your unit with a couple of chairs. It was warm and quiet on a winter's night. And we had some lovely sourdough and condiments left in our room for breakfast and good quality coffee bags and hot chocolate.

Gorgeous historic hotel motel with newly renovated rooms. The host Jane was very friendly and caring. We were able to bring our dog too. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious locally baked sourdough bread with a choice of condiments. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Jane!

The place look really old and dodgy but once you meet the staff and walk into your room it seems like a 4-star hotel. The bathroom is really nice the beds are super comfy and there is a smart T.V which is pretty cool. There is a variety of tea bags to choose from and a little coffee bag as well. There is a microwave, a toaster and even a kettle.

Jane and her team are so lovely at The Albion. They went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Jane ensured we were comfortable and even provided a small continental breakfast which was completely unexpected. The rooms are very clean. Toiletries were provided including shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. If you need accommodation in Castlemaine The Albion is a good place to stay!

Had a great time in Castlemaine, staying at the Albion. Dog friendly and people friendly! Room spacious for a motel and quite cool in the heat due to the pitched ceiling. Hardly used the air conditioning. Loved the attention to detail with what was provided in the newly furnished room. Would definitely return!

Really lovely, friendly service. We brought our dog with us (after confirming this was allowed) and the location was perfect as we could walk her in the Diggings right behind our room. The room was a great size, very clean and had all amenities we needed. The bed was also very comfortable! We will be back.
