We didn't stay here we just came in for a bite to eat and I must say food was good and fantastic vibes and chats with Joe. Would definitely come here again just for the good laughs and food. Absolutely fantastic job Joe for looking after us!

Peter was super friendly and helpful - accommodating a late change to our booking quickly and easily.
The room was clean, comfortable and just what we expected for the money.
All this only a few minutes walk into town made it perfect for us to squeeze in a late trip to the snow without breaking the bank.

I stayed at the place first time. It is really nice and clean. I stayed at winter time though. Room is nice and warm. Very good experience. Would recommend to people and I will stay there again with my family.

Staying here was a mistake from the start. Our initial interaction with the young man at the front bar was terrible; he was rude and overcharged us $160 for a room that should have been no more than $140 according to their website. Despite there being plenty of available rooms, he placed us in one right by the busy road. The room initially seemed acceptable with a new bathroom, but the shower head leaked everywhere except where it should, an issue mentioned in a previous review. The noise from the road and the light streaming through the blinds made for a very uncomfortable and sleepless night. The bed was mediocre, and the shower experience was frustrating. When we called to express our dissatisfaction to avoid writing a review, the response was dismissive and indifferent.

Reception was friendly enough. Orders were done at the bar for food and drink, so very much pub fare. For starters had buffalo wings (quite sour chili sauce like siracha) and pork belly (not great, fatty, and skin not crispy), followed by prawns and salmon dishes for mains. Both sauces for the prawn and salmon dishes tasted alike and lacked flavour, and the salmon was dry as it was overcooked. Suspect it was because all 4 meal orders were cooked and ready to be served at same time when the main should have been delayed. (Our waiter said this as much as told us mains would be recooked but we think it just sat under the lamps on the pass - hence fish was dried out). Wine and beer options were basic.
