Argyle Inn - Pub in Taralga New South Wales

Visiting from Sydney for one night so we only popped by for dinner. The service was exceptional we were so well looked after by our waitress, the food amazing aswell. We were even able to buy essential items we had forgotten to get on the way. I 100% would definitely recommend 🥰

Great country escape, charming country pub/Inn, very comfortable rooms, the verandah access rooms very comfortable and bonus shared lounge adjacent to rooms. Restaurant first class, simple but very tasty and well prepared courses, delicious home made bread, good interesting wine list, friendly attentive staff, breakfast equally as tasty and interesting fresh cooking. Great for a weekend away.

The Argyle Inn is an absolute gem! This quaint country pub exudes charm with its beautiful historic ambiance, creating the perfect setting for a memorable visit. The food was exceptional - each dish was full of flavor and clearly crafted with care.

A special shoutout to Deb, who made our experience even more wonderful. Her warm hospitality and thoughtful gestures added a personal touch, especially when she surprised us with dessert to celebrate our honeymoon. It's rare to find such genuine service these days!

Stopped here for lunch on our way for a weekend at Wombeyan caves and for breakfast on our way back. Beautiful food and wine/coffee in a lovely setting, and our toddler enjoyed a walk around the gardens. Highly recommend.

We had lunch here, my oh my wasn't I impressed. We had the lamb back strap, eye filler and the trout. , trout dip, New York potatoes and everything was phenomenal. Pricing was really cheap compared to Sydney cbd prices. This is a wonderful place. We also purchased 2 loafs of their bread, 2 slices of the hone made carrot cake and the winner was the pasta and ragu to take home. I just cooked the pasta and ragu and i can't remember the last time I had pasta this good.
