The Australian Heritage Hotel

My teens loved the Coat of Arms pizza so much, we went back for it again after being "stuck" in Sydney during the Crowdstrike airline issue in July. We were lucky/blessed enough to be traveling from Exmouth back to Sydney when Crowdstrike gave us the best gift with their technical meltdown (SFO being the destination). We were thrilled to have a couple of extra days in Sydney and the #1 food request from my kids was this pizza. This place has a charming and cozy environment, super friendly staff, and yummy food. It's about a 1-2 minute walk from BridgeClimb and you'll be hungry after that adventure (another must do!).

I just want to start off by saying if you are debating coming here, call the uber right now, the pizza is the best ive ever had (thats saying alot). I got the simple pepperoni and cheese and ate the WHOLE DAMN THING. The location is amazing, from the rooftop bar you can see the oprah house and the bridge. I 152.88% recommend!!!!!!!!!!

Australian Heritage is a charming antique hotel in the heart of Sydney. My family came here specifically for the pizzas to try the Emu & Kangaroo pizza as well as the Saltwater Croc Pizza. I thought it was going to be a bit of a gimmick, but I was wrong. Both were delicious. The Coat of Arms is for those who may prefer the taste of wild game. The Saltwater Croc was the stand out. I would happily buy this again. Helpful staff and delicious local brews. Its not a gimmick. This place is legit. The history is tangible and the food is 10/10.

We spent sometime here just for the food, cause I wanted to try some unique dishes based on Kangaroo, Emu and crocodile meat.

Talking to the lady that works there and chitchatting about the history of the place. Great information and she even informs me about the rooftop area that we can enjoy.

Food quality and taste is great, price is on the spot.

We live nearby and regularly visit this hotel to enjoy a drink or a meal in the evenings. It's a lovely old building, with a warm and friendly atmosphere suitable for a good catch up with friends.

There is a good selection of drinks and food, all at reasonable prices for the CBD. There is even a secret rooftop bar with great views of circular quay.
