A once great country pub completely run into the ground.
The layout is terrible and the 'feel' is just gone
The current service levels and quality of staff are probably the worst we've ever had. The female bar staff are so rude except for Therese.
The clientele is typical of Wingham...
The food is awful.

What is not to like. The food is great, the best it's ever been. The staff friendly and accommodating. If I may name a few. Brad, Jenna, Therese, Megan and "Shanti". Thanks guys for making us so welcome.

Great service by lovely staff members, meals great and so affordable for a family to enjoy a night out for dinner. Also Caitlin at the bar makes the best cocktails 😀

First time eating here left I left disappointed. Ordered The big daddy burger. Said it came with onion rings. Received no onion rings. Ordered "Hokey Pokey Waffle" advertised as warm belgium waffle with vanilla ice cream with lumps of honeycomb & toffee topped with salted caremal sauce & honeycomb crumbs. Well thats not what I Received. I received a waffle with ice cream,some chocolate sauce, some m&ms and the tiniest smallest bit of a kit kat. Not at all what I ordered. Or hoped to receive.
So if you like your food to be falsely advertised. Than this is the place for you!!!

One star is still way too generous for this place.
Absolutely appalling experience at this pub restaurant. We were told there'd be a 45-minute wait for food, but ended up waiting nearly 2 hours. The chef seems to have no idea how to run a kitchen. I couldn't even get veggies with my steak because they only had mashed potatoes - really?! I can guarantee cardboard would be tastier than this poor excuse for a "steak"
My sister, who is coeliac, ordered her meal specifically with salad and veggies, but when her food arrived 30 minutes after the rest of us, it was cross-contaminated with chips. The staff's excuse? "Our fryer caught fire." You don't need a fryer to cook veggies!
To make matters worse, my sister had to raise her voice just to get a refund while we watched in disbelief as the staff offered her contaminated meal to the table next to us on the house! We've tried to support this local business, but after the inedible food and disgraceful service, NEVER AGAIN. Horrible food, even worse customer service! Drive to Foster.. it's worth the trip!
