We tried the tasting menu, which was sufficient, though they charged the full price for a 3-year-old. Overall, I liked the food, but I didn't love it. The chicken breast was dry, but the dessert was the standout dish. At $110 per person, the portions are generous, and they provide unlimited bread. However, for the extra 10% service charge we paid ($90), the level of service was not worth it; it was difficult to get the staff's attention at times. I requested a dish to be packed for takeaway, but unfortunately, they didn't follow through, which led to unnecessary waste. If I were to pay that amount again, I'd go somewhere else with better service.

My friend took me here for my birthday dinner - probably the nicest dinner experience I've had in ages! We ordered the Pre-Theatre set menu and added the lamb rump. The highlight of the night was the gorgeous halloumi with honeycomb - 10/10 combo of sweet and salty and so beautifully presented. The coffee-cured duck was subtle and really tasty and the lamb was delicious and tender, paired perfectly with the smoky badinjan. Cocktails were delish and creative - we even tried the mulled wine at the bar - yum! Definitely would love to come back to try the rest of the menu

It was nice that the venue was open on Good Friday - there was a 15% surcharge but I have no issue with that given it was a public holiday.

The food was great, the table went with the banquet - they catered for a vegetarian and also someone who was gluten intolerant. Quality of food is what you would expect for the price.

Service was not good and we had to chase the staff for service. Food came out at a slower than expected pace. With drinks and the weekend surcharge it was $200. The service did not meet my expectations for that price point.

Towards the end of the night the staff informed us that there was a technical problem that caused a delay in service, so others may not experience a similar delay.
