Beautiful food very warm and welcoming and friendly staff.

Great Country Pub and Hotel. Lovely people there, good rooms, good food, cold drinks. Even has a Pool Table. What more can you want!

Visited here with an old Friend not seen for nr 40 years. Enjoyed the great service from the happy Girls at the bar.
Had a great night enjoying a meal. Time flew and left 1 minute before Kick out time .

Fast and great service. Lovely meals aswell

We were there for dinner for the first time in years. The venue has been updated and looks great.
The staff were friendly and efficient.
Meals were served fairly promptly, and our group of ten people all said they enjoyed their meals very much.

Just stayed one night beautiful fresh food and a comfortable bed.lovely hospitality.

Rooms lovely and clean , great beds pillows were perfect , could have a hair dryer in bathroom , continental breakfast not a hit , our of date cereal etc and we weren't given any bread to toast other than that enjoyed our stay 😀

Great pub food, reasonable prices.

Not open for dinner when they say they are. We were going to eat here but phoned and they were closed for dinner. Got 3 stars because they lady was kind enough to tell me of other places in the area that might be open for dinner. We were staying in Simpson for 1 night so had nothing with us.

Polite, fast service, great food, lovely atmosphere.

Clean nice sized rooms. Plenty of accessories. Its 5 stars because it had everything in the right place. We where also well greeted and anything we asked for we received. Great parking for large vehicles Trucks, Trailers and a 2 minute walk to the small country town stores.

Friendly staff great service and lovely meals

Absolutely wonderful service, such a friendly and welcoming pub. Had a few drinks and a classic chicken schnitzel - brilliant quality succulent chicken, delicious gravy and a lovely salad. All really well priced too.
Plus if you're travelling around, you can park your RV on the grass out the back for 24 hours. The owners and management staff are great people, so glad I stopped by on my travels. I had such a great experience at the Ball and Chain, thanks Nick, Biddy and Elliott.

I was on a long distance business trip when I had an unexpected delay. A staff member, after reception hours, was so friendly & helpful in getting me a room & settled for the night.

Clean dining room always appreciated.
Excellent pub food, plump, juicy chicken Parma, great pulled pork tacos, pork ribs yum and salad & veg sides well cooked and presented. Desserts were a great suprise, obviously home made and delicious.
