Ball Court Hotel, Sunbury VIC

Went out with the family on Sunday night. Has become a bit of a regular thing now since the upgrades. The atmosphere is really good. Very busy, but dining is spaced well and you don't feel crammed into the establishment. We had no issues having conversation over noise. Food is very prompt, have thoroughly enjoyed the majority of meals I've ordered (except the fish n chips.. which was more batter than fish). The staff are lovely, the menu is very broad. And a good selection of beers and wines. They are very accommodating for kids, always providing drawing paper and pencils, with a play area outdoors and kids activities. Definitely the most family friendly dining experience locally in my opinion. Highly recommend

Such yummy food! Hubby had the schnitzel with gravy, salad and chips whilst I had the most delicious roast lamb! Kids ate for free being it a Sunday which is such a great idea - making it more affordable for families to have a lunch out! Will definitely be back!

This venue has been recently revamped and is a great place to visit. The menu provides the average pub staples and at decent prices. The meals were delivered quickly and correctly by polite, engaging and friendly staff. The kitchen does a good job to pump out the meals at pace during the very busy Friday night we visited. There is a workers bar where you will see lots of tradies in flouro having a after work drink, game of pool and a punt if thats what your after. The bistro is large and extensive with comfy tables and chairs and a few booths. Lots and lots of tables with plenty of space. The best aspect of the revamp is the large outside garden bar at the rear. You dont discover this until your insidd the venue. Even though it was a bit cold the place was packed with lots of heaters. Large screens providing entertainment with a fenced kids play area. The rear garden bar has a real enjoyable vibe.
This is a place you can take the family, meet up with friends or book for an event. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a cosy Sunday lunch around 2pm for 10 people inc kids & a baby. We were seated inside by the back door, it was an open atmosphere and surprisingly fast service. The food was served HOT & tasty (especially the mushroom pea risotto). The kids enjoyed the playground and live singer outside. Skipped on dessert. Would definitely be returning & recommending.

First time back since the reno was completed, my rump steak was amazing - cooked perfectly rare, the photo doesn't do it justice (thank you chef)
Drinks are very Melbourne priced and sad there was no VB on tap, but they did have a CC which went down very well in the sun!
