A good place to stop when on the road. Cheap camping out the back of the pub, it's free accros the road but I much preferred being on site of the pub with access to the toilets & shower also. Just be mindful if the train goes past at night it's loud - gave me a fright! Friendly service at the pub, good food & drink.

After a long day on the Noble Steed (XDiavel S), it was great to pull in for the night, have a shower, a great chicken parmigiana-Hawaiian, a couple of nice cold drink as and a good nights sleep.

We always stay here at the back of the hotel on powered caravan sites btw there are 4 to 5 only depends on how tight you wajt to be
The hotel is very quaint
Very friendly staff and owners
Great meals well priced .
We highly recommend this hotel for all travellers .
And will continue to support this establishment for years to come .

What a great little country Pub.
We called in for a beer and ended up free camping across the road after several beers and a great dinner.
The staff and locals were very accomodating and extremely friendly.
We'll be back for sure.

I stopped with seven others cyclists cycling the Central West Cycle route. The rooms are Inviting and warm, the showers are hot and the bar service was friendly and welcoming. As a suggestion a warm breakfast room with a few more food options would have been welcome. The evening meals weren't great ... but that won't deter us from another visit. This was our second stay.
HAIR OF THE DOG INN is open Monday and Tuesday from 4 PM to 10 PM. They are also open Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 AM to 10 PM. On Friday they're open from 11:30 AM to 11 PM. On Saturday they operate from 10:30 AM to 11 PM. On Sunday they operate from 10:30 AM to 10 PM.
