Barbarian Brewing Co. - Pub in Kingsville Victoria

I love this bar! It's super handy-accessible. The door is always open & is wide enough for a standard wheelchair. Most tables are roll-up height, and if not, Matt & his staff will happily come to you. There's also a great accessible bathroom.

The venue is also super queer & genderqueer friendly, with unisex loos that have ceiling to floor walls & doors. I'm very very very queer and the staff are nothing but lovely to me.

The food is always incredible. With a mix of amazing specials and plenty of regulars, there's something for picky and adventurous eaters. And same goes for drinkers - there's a lot on tap, with in-house brews soon to come.

The atmosphere here is so family friendly. I genuinely feel welcome here by Matt & his mob. Wednesday Trivia is always a blast & I'm so happy this bar is in my neighbourhood.

When your slogan is Good Beer for Good People you know you better deliver on customer service and Barbarian Brewery certainly does that. Randomly stumbled on this place whilst visiting from the Craft Beer capital of Australia , the Sunshine Coast, and decided to check it out. $14 for a pint of one of their brews is decent in this day and age and I tried their IPA, XPA and Amber ale. For me not one these beers missed the mark and would happily return to drink any one of them again. Didn't eat here but the food menu looked good and will certainly try it out next trip.

Beer always tastes better when it's served In a welcoming and friendly environment and Bavarian Brewery have certainly got that locked down. Oh and the fireplace is also a great added bonus for those of us from the warmer parts of Australias.

A let down, and only a 7 min walk from what I call home.

Although the pale ale has had its shout-out in this place's reviews. It just doesn't hit like expected, either did the other xpa & hazy's.

Food was a 1 star at best, come here on a Thursday (steak night), oily *fish and chips quality), small undercooked / overcooked steak, i cant work out of it was tender or overdone, it's some what slow cooked but with a reheated microwave quality, "steaks in bulk". The freshest thing on the plate was the cut tomato.
And the pork belly bites were cold, not a fresh, crispy pork belly as expected. Yet a mere pre-cooked and reheated cheap pub dish, but for $15, what did I expect.

Did enjoy the service and hospitality, the 90s alternative rock, and the warm fireplace.
And even though I'm not in possession of a dog, I do appreciate the dog friendly environment.

Stunningly delicious roast with bread sauce and Yorkshire Pudding 🥰🥰. And given it is a brewery the beer was also excellent. I highly recommend this newish venue. Wear a coat (in winter) because it is a warehouse!

A new local brewery that impresses! The brewery has a great layout and the beers are incredible. Their pale ale is clean and smooth and easy drinking. A great atmosphere and a kitchen is due to open a week from today. It is definitely a great place to drink with friends and family. This will definitely be a regular for us. There are plenty of beer options both brewed onsite and other guest beers from breweries. There are even options for non beer drinkers with wine, spirits and fizzies. Can't wait to bring the family here for a feed and drinks. Congrats to the owners on their new brewery!
