Omg such a lovely place to sit and have lunch. Just near the Woy Woy ferry and a beautiful little fenced playground for the kids. Definitely a family friendly venue. Caters to every family member and the prices are reasonable as are the portion sizes. Get along and support the pub. Will be back again.

Good pub food. Burgers, steaks and seafood. Stayed the night with no great expectations as fairly budget friendly rates, room was nothing amazing but better than I expected. All round - good value.

Had no problem with the staff they were helpful and friendly. But the lunchtime menu needs some changes like adding lighter meals as not everyone can consume a Parma in the middle of the day. I had the appetizer of salt and pepper squid it was nice but some side salad would of been nice. Only go here during the day if you have a big appetite.

Great pub, good location, near the railway station and ferry. Lots of beers on tap and cocktails. One of the reasons I come here is that they make a very good Bloody Mary. Staff are always nice and friendly. 3 bars, rooftop bar and musician on Sunday afternoon. There is a bistro, didn't eat, but food liked good when being brought out.

We had dinner in the restaurant. The service was wonderful.
I really enjoyed my prawn Caesar salad, and the staff were happy to leave out the croutons and crumbed chicken in favour of the prawns in order to cater for my gluten free diet.

Absolutely amazing food, like the best food my family and I had. Had the T-bone steaks, steak sandwiches, snitzles, and the chicken Cesar salad. You can tell they use absolutely amazing quality meat. Extremely well priced especially for how great quality the food was !! Ordered at the bar the lady was lovely had great service and she served me the best ever vodka sunrise! She showed me how to make it and I'll be definitely having it that way from now on. She made it with fresh farmers market orange juice the absolute best! Thank you guys for the amazing service !!!

Visited the Bayview hotel with friends yesterday, we enjoyed a wine in their lovely beer garden overlooking the Brisbane water. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the train station and the ferry, it is family friendly and has been recently renovated to a high standard. We also visited Frankies, the new roof top bar. We were very impressed with the warm and welcoming staff and the margaritas were sensational, some of the best we have tasted and as a bonus reasonably priced! We will definitely be returning to this lovely hotel in Woy Woy.

Bar staff are super friendly, however the food was terrible. Bruschetta was terrible. May aswell of asked for a slice of bread and a whole tomato. Garlic bread was like chicken strips.. no salad dressing on any of the sides.. Food has always been good, unsure if their is a new chef in town.. disappointed.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch, sitting out the back of the hotel, August 18th. All meals were delicious and the cocktails were just right. Service from both bar and bistro staff was exceptional. Thanks go to all concerned.

Nice place (but the restaurant can be noisy when full.) Meals good, beer cold. Lifes good.
The on road parking can be a problem if you intend to stay more than 2hrs.
Cozy fireplace vibes out the back in the dining room, awesome rooftop with great cocktails, food and a view of the bay. Trivia Tuesdays with a packed audience are great too. An awesome pub! The staff are friendly especially, Sarah who helped us book an event space at Frankie's rooftop.

Wonderful food, staff and service. We've had many meals and events at The Bayview including Frankie's rooftop. Real pub vibe, regular trivia nights and live music. The manager Sarah is beyond fantastic too. Great value meals.

Frankie's Rooftop - great fun!

Excellent food and drinks at a reasonable price. Great ambiance and excellent views of the water. Staff are super friendly, it was a mate's birthday and we all had a great time.

Highlights for me were the espresso martini, salt and pepper squid, and pork belly bites... Yum!

I have stayed here twice. It is a budget hotel, close to the Brisbane Water and Fisherman's Wharf. The staff seem friendly, although the decor is a little dated. There is a restaurant on the first floor called Frankie's Rooftop which looks interesting, but I never had the chance to eat there as it opens only on weekends.

Food: 3 ?
Tried to order the Tuesday T-bone special but they only had rump. The rare rump steak was dry, bland and chewy. The fries were excellent.
House Cocktails are between $12 and $16 and are pretty good.

Accommodation: 5? Standard Queen Room with shared bathroom. Stayed for 2 weeknights.

Room was clean, quiet and bathrooms were of good quality. Room was simply furnished with all basic necessities, and also had a built in sink. Towel and soap supplied. No shampoo supplied.

Some bathrooms had multiple cubicles (swimming pool style) and others had just a single cubicle with toilet bowl (ensuite style).

Rooms are located upstairs but there is an accessible entrance via an elevator.

Room was great value and got an excellent rate on the Agoda app.
Great pub and I wish I found this place earlier. It has plenty of food on offer. Nice and clean pub. Parking can be a little bit difficult on the surrounding streets at busy times but not impossible. I look forward to visiting this place again.

Not a single Australian-owned beer on tap. Coopers available in the bottle. Target clientele is 18 to 24 plus locals of all ages. Food was surprisingly good though

Went in early on a Saturday evening. Ordered the simplest meal possible. Garlic Bread, Burger & Chips. The Garlic bread was burnt & the inside of my burger was uncooked. The wife ordered a Sea Food Platter which was served up with lashing of fried breadcrumb coverings (on everything). Staff didn't look interested so we just walked out.

Went to the Bayview Brasserie at the bayview hotel. The hotel has been refurbished and looked very good with nice panelled wood. Staff were friendly and obliging. The food was first rate and you can get a seniors meal of fish and chips with salad for $14. Fish was very good and the batter was crispy. Good idea to book if you don't want to be disappointed.

After an unpleasant experience in Frankie's, a young barmaid made our Mum's birthday, and recreated a drink that my Mum hadn't had in 20 years +. This young girl was not only bubbly, and went out of her way to make the drink and walk it upstairs to us, but she showed great pride in her work by asking for feedback on the quality of the drink - and it was the best one any of us had ordered all day. Thank you to this young woman, we really appreciate you helping to make our Mums day special ???

We did a pit stop for a quick Lunch at the Bayview Bistro, we had the beautiful beer batter fish and chips and it was just Delicious, 3 big pieces of tasty fresh fish that tasted so good with salad and crunchy hot chips. The Menu looked very interesting too. The plates around the tables looked very appealing. Well worth a visit nice spot for lunch.

We live in Sydney and enjoy the drive up to Woy Woy and always have lunch at the Bayview or the Pelican. We had lunch at the Bayview yesterday and I ordered a Seniors Fish, chips and salad for myself, and was served a small piece of fish which had more batter than fish and the chips and salad was half the usual serve. My friend had the chicken schnitzel and was given half a piece of schnitzel and the chips and salad was smaller than in the past. I think that we will have to lunch at the Pelican, where we get our monies worth....and have had no complaints so far.

I went with 4 others and we had dinner. The menu had been changed so 2 of the group were not able to order what they had ordered previously.
Well 4 of us ended up ordering the same the dish, wagyu rump, the fallback choice if you are unsure of the menu. Well the meals arrived and the size of the steak varied across all 4 plates. 2 were rare and 2 were medium rare. One of the rare steaks was tiny in comparison and he ended eating most of his wife's steak.
My steak medium rare was a bit tough

Great spot to relax with a cold beer and good food in the outdoor terrace.

The Bayview Hotel used to be a go to place for local people and those who came in by ferry...right on it's doorstep. It has recently been taken over, but certainly not for the better. The menu was the old menu, which used to be really good, but there were many choices, mainly the nice seafood options, blocked out by stickers placed over them.
It is a shabby look now for what used to be a great place to dine. Drinks are pricey and when collecting meals from the kitchen, the kitchen staff were not a real happy bunch. They also do not take the Dine Vouchers from Service NSW.
The new owners may need to take note and up their game. They're bringing down what used to be a great local pub.?

We go to the bayview for lunch regularly Had lunch at the bayview yesterday Had the salmon the chips were undercooked and oily and the portions have been steadily getting smaller. The salad looked like it was made by a five year old. Was my local favourite spot for lunch, not anymore. Really disappointing.

Pretty easy check-in head into the restaurant to the main bar and they gave us the key, lucky there was one parking spot left for us, room was quite clean and bed sheets were actually really soft. The bistro food was yummy!!
Valentine Tyson
A very good hotel! The prices are good, and on members night, the prices are discounted again. The kitchen staff were very busy, so didn't have time to smile. My two orders were for without chips, but add extra salad. We didn't get that, and when I asked for the chips to be removed, the chef just wiped them off the plate, and handed it back. It's not difficult to comply.

Came for the $15 roast on Sunday nights to try the local food.
Was so disappointed. Roast Lamb meat was so tough. Pumpkin grainy and undercooked. Baked potato were flavourless.
If this is the standard of the food, definitely won't be back.

The room are in good condition considering the category and what's available in the area. If you planning in staying there over the weekend and you don't mind noise from the pub all good. If though you hope for a relaxing and quiet night .... well lets just say is not an option. The food is good and the cocktail bar a must.

We stayed in room 3, one of the motel style rooms attached to the hotel. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. Very comfortable bed. This pub has an excellent bistro with really good, fresh food. Woy Woy is a nice little town. We plan to stay at The Bayview Hotel again.

Yep fantastic Friday lunch! We ordered 3 meals and all 3 were great!! Burgers were delicious!! Chips well seasoned and HOT only mention.. burger bun was tiny.

As a venue it is great to see the how it looks now, superb vibe. The Bistro is an excellent option for lunch or dinner. Good pricing and quality. I will definitely be a repeat customer
