This is by far my most favourite place to go. I have been coming here for a couple years now, when I visit Melbourne, and now my Fiancé's favourite to. The flavours and atmosphere of this place make it very hard to leave. The food... so simple yet so delicious, those fried pickles have a new place in my heart. The Banoffee pie Cocktail is one of the best drinks I've had...(also very dangerously addictive)

And a huge shoutout to Sam for coming over to us on the second night and introducing himself and for the free shots (they were delicious) a credit to you and the amazing staff. We will be back very soon.

lovely bar and affordable prices. Ambiance was top tear and they had live blues when we went. chips were great. recomend this bar

Would've been 5 star had it not been for one of the bar members. Back story: we went on Sunday 21st July approx 8:30pm. We understood there was 10% surcharge which was absolutely fine + the card charges. But upon purchasing 2 drinks (which were $24 each according to the menu given to us - one Junkyard Dog and the other Willie Wagtail) we found ourselves to be overcharged, not once but twice.
My partner ordered the exact same 2 drinks twice and only noticed he had been overcharged the second time. He was served by the same bar man. When we spoke to that particular bar man, he made multiple difference excuses as to why we were charged higher. 1st was that it was because of the 10% surcharge, 2nd was because we bough some chips (the chips were bought separately, in between our drinks!!) 3rd was that apparently the Junkyard Dog cocktail price has now increased to $25! This was pretty poorly handled by that particular bar man as he didn't even apologise. Not only until my partner spoke to him separately as we were leaving did he apologise.
So many excuses which made no sense.
I too ordered 2 separate drinks both costing the same ($24 each drink - served by a different bar staff and wasn't overcharged!)

We had so many questions, like why wasn't the menu updated if the drinks prices had been increased? Surely this is catfishing customers?
Why didn't he just apologise? We were fine paying the fees but didn't give us any compensation to say we were paying customers. Really appalled as to how this situation was handled.

The drinks were mediocre but the atmosphere was great, until the ordeal with that man.

I don't think we'll return until they change the menu to a more accurate pricing.

Cozy atmosphere. Awesome bar. Good service. Good live music. I just expected more from the food menu. It's basically a place to drink and appreciate good music. Don't expect it to kill your hunger.

Must say I loved the place. It had a great vibe, with food, cocktails, quality nibbles and controlled access. No seats .... sorry , but people are coming and going all the time, so I have never had an issue.

For me I like friendly service and a quick turnaround. Not bad, for a very busy place, really worth the effort.
