Midweek and this place was quiet until dinner, it went off. Mixed crowed and pleasant place to drink and be entertained with the locals having a great time! So much pub character. Such a fun activity bar!
The food was a cracker price and taste. Bring your cash, these drinks are spot on and cheap or maybe it's just because I'm a tourist.

The food was great, and the prices were quite reasonable (though the menu does mention needing to purchase a drink to get the advertised price). Only a small hiccup - I ordered a rare steak, but it arrived well done

Lot more than a pub!
Friendly atmosphere and awesome staff, for being a bar kind of a place, steak was delicious.
Liquor prices are not bad, good number of beers on draft.

Will definitely return!

The atmosphere is rich with a little bit of everything - neon and antique signs, surfboard, sports TVs, pool table, dining, bar, dining room. I only visited upstairs and we went back once more during a short stay. If you were walking distance, this could be your local for meals, a chat and let your hair down. It is a real bar and it has heaps of investment. I can't thank everyone enough for an easy going time.

This is my go to bar in North Sydney! Great location, easy to find, cheap food, prompt service, plenty of choices of food beer,... and there is airways a good atmosphere!

What a fine....wow. A lot of variety on the menu. T-bone, rump burgers....Great price's. Friendly staff and quick service. So much atmosphere with all the memorabilia on the walls.Variety of beers and location location . Highly recommend.

Great ambiance like an old English pub. Food is superb and reasonably priced. Variety of beers on the tap.

For lunch we visited this place, and what is going to an Irish bar without having a pint of Guinness. It comes really well with the affordable food they offer. I got the steak sandwich and it was a decent portion of food for only $16. The atmosphere is good here too! As we went during the day it was still quite empty and quiet.

Nice pub with plenty of interesting items to look at on the walls. Well priced food and plenty of cool drinks. A lot of TV's showing sports and it's close to North Sydney Station.

This is by far one of the best bars to visit. The entry is wonderful walking up the stairs with interesting artefacts.

Cleanliness is kept to a high standards and Jeff the manager has done a great job maintaining its rich heritage.

We really like the Batman novelty statue and if you're a comic fan then this place you will enjoy visiting. Sports on TV channel is also what you'd see.

The food is good although we didn't have time to eat anything but we overheard customers enjoying their meal.

Overall a good experience and feel about this place. Even the carpets are regularly well maintained you can tell as soon as you walk in.
