Step back in time. The atmosphere was friendly, staff were welcoming, and the rooms had an Art Deco vibe with cozy amenities including split system air conditioner and new televison. Being close to Canberra made it super convenient. The bistro served delicious home cooked style meals and the drinks were reasonably priced. There was plenty to do around the village with coffee shops, Sunday markets, glass blowing, historic churches and bushranger Gilbert's grave. Overall, had a great time and would definitely recommend it for a relaxed county retreat. --- Does this suit your needs better?
