Blue Duck Hotel - Pub Near Me in Ararat Victoria

We had dinner here while travelling, walked in with no booking (5 adults and a baby) and they happily accommodated. Everybody ordered something different and no one was disappointed!
Serving sizes were great, quality was spot on and didn't take long at all to get our meals.
Dessert was excellent and all servings were huge!

Highly recommended!

This evening I had the pleasure of dining at the blue duck 🦆 . My friends and I chose this restaurant for our monthly catch up and it was an enjoyable time 🧍🏽‍♀️🧍🏽‍♀️🧍🏽‍♀️🧍🏽‍♀️🧍🏼‍♀️. The staff were welcoming and the meals were fantastic ???-. The restaurant was quiet with a few other people dining in as well. The restaurant is warmed by a lovely wood fire ??"? and the ambient music is well chosen and set at a good volume 🎶 . We will definitely be back and will be recommending the place to others 😁.

In Ararat. Attended with 40 Probarians. Two course meal. Two choices served alternatively. I had fish in the lightest crisp batter. Other meal was roast turkey. Everybody
around me was delighted.
Dessert was apple crumble, and raspberry roulade. Very nice coffee.
They need a system for delivering coffees / teas. One waitress was calling out for tea, black coffee etc etc. Everyone talking like magpies, and couldn't hear. Made the job longer and more complicated for waitress. Maybe take names with order, and call out names.
Lovely meal.

Food was the worst I've had in awhile, three medium steaks ordered, all came well done, and the creamy garlic prawn sauce had curdled(looks like they tried useing milk instead cream, so our steak was covered in curdled milk that was like scrambled egg texture and a watery liquid left behind on the plate, the salad had no dressing, only good thing was the freshly made chips.

😍 the blue duck hotel, the staff are fantastic, happy and awesomely friendly, let's talk about the food YUMMY 😋, traditional pub food or as same would call it outback pub food, it was top notch and very reasonable priced, if I could give them 100 stars 🌟 I would. Thank you we will definitely be back.??'?🤩🥂
