Best country pub hotel I've ever stayed in! So clean, the sheets smell amazing because they dry them in the sunshine which makes it feel cosy like a home away from home. Shirley does an awesome job on the cleaning!
They are very friendly and understanding people who work there. I had room 10 and slept like a princess! Wish I could have stayed longer.
For the price, it's hard to beat! You could pay a lot more elsewhere and not get anywhere near the value or high quality you'd get here.
There is a communal fridge with all your basics, bread, milk cereal etc. which is a big bonus!
The communal shower room has no lock, only curtains, but it was never an issue for me because the hotel was quiet during my stay.
The showers were a bit hard to adjust the temperature and ceiling could do with a paint job but other than that, everything was perfect!
It is above a pub and restaurant but you wouldn't notice, it was perfectly quiet where the rooms are situated, I heard nothing from downstairs.
I'll stay again if I'm ever passing through!

This is the best 3-star country pub I've stayed in. Michael, the publican is an excellent host, making everybody feel welcome, the food and drinks are delicious, the restaurant is quiet and busy at the same time - no loud music and lots of friendly faces. The public bar is lined with comfortable sofas, with country music playing quietly in the background. The simple rooms open onto a wide, clean verandah with views of the town and area. We'll be back next time we visit the SouthWest Slopes. Word of warning, I have arthritis and the stairs were a nightmare. Grin and bear it if you're disabled like me.

I often just drop in on the way through. Gotta savour the feeling you get from the Pub, Publican (Michael), Guinness and food! During summer my body doesn't need warming but my heart does! See you next time!

It's not what it seems, they sell you the idea of ββan old hotel and based on that they defend the calamitous state of the place. Dirty sheets, shared bathroom for all guests, breakfast is far from continental since there are only 3 old and damp cereal containers, a refrigerator that apparently is used by the guests and you have to wash the utensils yourself, therefore everything is half washed. A cup of each color, torn curtains, and I even found bed buds in my bed. The bathroom is close to the kitchen, therefore while you eat breakfast you hear the gases of whoever is in the bathroom. Horrible! I do not recommend at all
Boorowa Hotel is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 AM until midnight the following morning. They are also open Sunday from 8 AM to 10 PM.
