The price was average, the food was great, the sticky date dessert we didnt like it.
The service was not great, they all seem confused of what they were doing.

It seems that the customer service here is nonexistent. The girl who took my order did not smile once, mumbling with no eye contact...FYI it was not busy (2pm) and I wasn't being difficult in any way. I started out smiling but left feeling confused and disappointed. Not wanting to visit again.

Food was okay but not worth having to deal with rude staff. Would recommend heading to the Duck instead if you want pub food.

A large group of us descended on The Buena last night and the feedback was that it has atmosphere, good food and good service. Massive roast indeed !
I see that a reviewer a couple of months ago complained that the staff had a poor attitude, but we saw no problems at all...they seemed friendly, responsive and positive. The meals were delivered quickly.
Must have been a rare bad night a couple of months ago

Such a great pub that has been here since forever
Girl on the bar was full of smiles and helpful on the menu choices.

Steak and fries or mash with mushroom sauce. It comes with some side salad. That is a meal in itself. May like to try barramundi tacos. Minimum order of 3, so pile it on if you are hungry. Makes for a pleasant early week night out and no fuss with cleaning up after dinner. The bar is always there if you need to have s drink or two +
The Buena is open Monday through Saturday from noon to midnight. They are also open Sunday from noon to 10 PM.
