Was away for work absolutely worst meal I've had in this town. I've been to every bar/pub and it's appalling that the foods this bad compared to the rest. Beer was gross smelt disgusting... steak cold undercooked chips cold nobody in the joint at all BIG BAD SIGN IN A BUSY TOWN

Great small town hospitality from Mark and staff. Seafood chowder and goat curry was sensational. Looking forward to the next time I stay there.

I had the barramundi with rocket and mashed potato which was absolutely delicious. My husband had a wood fire pizza which was eaten with gusto.

On a recent visit to Wangaratta we popped in for lunch at the Bulls Head as from the exterior it looked an inviting place to eat. Inside there are cloth covered tables and large photo murals of times gone by. Service was good and staff welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. Lunch menu was mainly pub classics and pizzas. Prices were all very reasonable. We ordered a chicken and smoked salmon wood fired pizza to share between 2 and it was delicious with very generous topping. A very small criticism would be the base could have been cooked slightly longer, however I do like a very crusty base so maybe personal preference here. We would have loved a dessert but we were quite full after the pizza so didn't order one. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this hotel and would recommend to others.

Always receive great service here. Love the boa buns and the arancini balls are fantastic. We recently had the spatchcocked chicken and I'll never eat KFC again 🤣. It was delicious 🥂♥️

Great food worthy of a trip to Wangaratta.
We came after seeing kitchen nightmares and we were so impressed. The scotch eggs, and especially the wood fired chicken was brilliant. Not to mention the roulade dessert is so good. We felt very welcomed and will be back with friends next time.

My wife and I had lunch here on Wednesday, 17/8/2023. I we ordered a garlic pizza which was fantastic. I then had a butter chicken dish with flat bread, rice, and a beautiful dipping sauce. It was also fantastic, better than some Indian Restaurant s I have been to. My wife had the arencheny balls, and she also loved them. We will definitely go back. Great value for money as well.
