New menu has turned this place from top tier to your standard pub, yeah it's good but removing wing Wednesday, as well as all the different wing flavours off the menu is really disappointing, same with the burgers. These are what made the patch what it is! Happy hour now not as good as what it used to be, inflation seems to be getting us all, you never know you're in the good times when you are.

The food, the food! I ordered crispy skin barra and it was amazing! It was crispy on the outside and nice and tender inside, best fish I've had in a long time. My partner ordered the steak with prawns. The steak melted in your mouth and the garlic prawns were sensational. Meals come with 2 sides and sauce. Chips, sweet potato chips, coleslaw and mash were great and so were the sauces. Every single item in our meals was so good that I was thinking of coming back the day after.

They got rid of Wing Wednesdays! SUCH A TRAVESTY!!! And the happy hour is now reduced and the prices don't really make anyone happy. Patch Wednesdays used to be full of uni students with humongous lines at either bar, now there's practically no one other than the usual tradies. Disappointing. Uni students were probably their main customer base considering the brisk walk from the campus nearby and can barely afford a drink now. Guess you don't know what you've got till it's gone.

Thoroughly enjoy the lunch specials, the service is fantastic, am always greeted as soon as I walk through the door, the staff are always keeping busy but not too busy to stop for a chat. Great place.
