We were here for the kickoff of the Echuca Winter Blues festival.

It was a happening vibe. The staff were bubbly, engaging and friendly.

I highly recommend the chicken Caesar salad. The most satisfyingly delicious version I have ever eaten.

Stayed here recently and was pleasantly surprised for how much the room costs. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed, smart tv and amazing water pressure in the shower. Staff were friendly and the meal I had was delicious. The open fire on a cold winter evening was a nice touch. Will stay here every time I'm in Echuca for work from now on.

Well if only the motel experience was as good as the hotel experience.
The manager went out of his way to accommodate us for dinner, as they were fully booked, he made sure we would get a meal, the meals were very good and plentiful.
On the other hand, the rooms were terrible, bed mattresses seemed very old with no support, but I guess that's to be expected at a motel, but having to have warm water showers at best on both mornings wasn't very pleasant, within 2 minutes the warm water, turned a wee bit cold.
I understand its a long weekend, and the motel was fully booked, but really it's not good enough, there wasn't that many rooms, maybe 25.
Please update your hot water units for future guests

Had dinner here twice. Pleasant dining area with various large tv screens. Good choice of traditional bistro meals on menu. Friendly and quick service. Generous serves of good quality food. Really enjoyed the chicken parma served with veges and chips.

We had a lovely meal on Good Friday. So grateful they were open. I come here every year and have never been disappointed. The online booking option was straightforward and convenient. This was backed up with confirmation emails as well . Venue was clean and inviting, staff were fabulous, good range of menu and specials. Parking was easy too. Prices comparable to other pub meals.
Well done Caledonian staff we will be back.

Beautiful, luxury and massive rooms.
Upstairs rooms have a great balcony overlooking the street. .Perfect Pub downstairs for a good meal, great beer and a chat with the locals.

A group of us had a lunch here. There is a good menu, and they also have a specials board worth looking at. I had a chicken vindaloo. Very nice. Very filling. Other's ordered parmi's, open steak sandwiches and burgers. All were pretty generous sizes. I will be back to take the better half. I recommend giving the Caledonian a go 9/10

Where the 'locals' drink in Echuca. Great cold beers on tap incl a few craft beers, food is varied and amazing, service is second to none ! Highly recommend !

We were lucky to have been allocated the last room which was the apartment, it was great with everything you could want, the pub has a great atmosphere with wonderful food we have enjoyed our short stay and will definitely be back.

Best accommodation in Echuca! I travel to Echuca for work and have stayed at a few places but this one takes the cake! Staff are amazing, rooms are large and comfortable, perfect location, food and wine at the pub is incredible and just feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend ??'?

Comfortable quiet rooms on edge of city centre. Good meals in hotel, breakfast from drive through cheap and nice. The hotel owner works very hard to ensure customer satisfaction

Under resourced bar staff, crowded due a function, rushed meal service, $48 steak (scotch) was inedible (raw) in places. Disgusting when raised with bar staff, they said they will let them know, but provided no feedback. Lucky I didn't order the chicken.

My mum's stay at your hotel due to the recent flood event in October 2022 turned into a surprisingly pleasant experience. My mum has dementia and your friendly staff and personal service made her feel like it was staying in a home-away-from-home. Thank you for your hospitality and for making her feel safe during a very difficult time. Great location, delicious meals, generous size.rooms and clean. Highly recommend.

What I love about small towns!!
I entered the Cal on a Sunday afternoon and was immediately greeted with a smile by the publican Dave. There were 3 other patrons in the bar and it was the exact place I wanted to be after a long drive. He asked me what I would like to drink and I said surprise me! He was taken aback but I have trust in people who are warm and welcoming. He handed me a Travla and said ever heard of Travis Fimmel. I'm not an avid TV watcher so I had no clue. He then said to me google Travis Fimmel underwear. So I did. The pics aren't my cup of tea but I get the idea. (Rigged carefree is more my thing but what ever floats your boat) Suffice to say I had another and will definitely make this my new beer of choice. Thanks Dave and I hope to be back soon! Definitely check the Cal out if you are looking for service with a smile.

Very good restaurant. The food was good especially the Thai beef salad that contained fresh vegetables and fair amount of beef and noodles. The service was excellent and it didn't take long for the food to come out. Overall, a pleasant experience and warmly recommended.

A great place to stay. Our large room had 2 Queen beds and a front and rear balcony outside with a short walk to the bar and lounge.

My parents and their friends just had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Location is so close to everything, 5 mins walking from train station. Clean, large, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, wide choice of food! David, thank you so much for taking good care of this senior group, much appreciated! Will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

We had a meal here for lunch with our family. The staff were very friendly. The meals were of great proportions and we were not disappointed. Excellent feed and the prices were decent. Lovely to see a place offer old fashioned feeds where you know you will not go away Hungry. Appreciate that Normal food was on offer not fancy stuff that leaves you hungry. Well done!!!

Had the $42 scotch steak with the mountain of chips and tiny salad. If you are going to charge these types of prices for a pub meal it could adleast be a good quality steak. To be honest I have cooked an aldi steak at home better.

Outstanding service. I come from a hospitality background, so it was nice to see Dave chatting to the locals as a good publican should. Food was awesome, staff were great.

The service was good,, staff were nice but 2 scotch fillet steaks $42 each very disappointing,, I've never paid that much for rubber before.
Been in echuca for 2 days and still can't find a nice meal.
Spent a fortune so far for nothing but rubbish,, I wouldn't recommend a meal here and won't be returning.

Stopped by mid arvo - kitchen was closed between lunch and dinner hours.
But, the bloke at the bar, David, offered to get us sandwiches.
What a champion! That's the kind of service the brings people back!

Food was plentiful and quite good. We really enjoyed both visits and will definitely come back again!

Venue looks nice but the food was not up to the standard, chicken was just cooked and the schnitzel was very soggy and wet. The best thing I had there was the water!! Currently still feeling sick from the food. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
