A long time local pub in Eaglehawk, serving until recently generally reliable but unremarkable pub food. This has changed, dramatically even maybe, now that a chef who formerly worked at Mason's (generally considered Bendigo's best restaurant) took over the kitchen. It is still mostly pub food, if you can consider soft beef cheeks served with tender not mushy vegetables and a great just, pub food. Even the chicken parmigianas are in a different league to the standard pub Parma. Well worth a visit for the best pub food in Bendigo and Eaglehawk at the moment
