Perfect for a pre theatre dinner. Food was great, as was the service. Arrived at 6pm and left at 7pm. We opted to sit outside and a warm late August Saturday night.

Amazing food from the Saturday staff, very welcoming and very accommodating for dietary restrictions. Absolutely delicious and amazing view.

My go-to for ANZAC Day Two-Up!

I love coming here every year for Two-Up in the lane and am pretty gutted that I won't make it this year (guess the birth of my first born will suffice!), but I know that hundreds of others will be sharing the joy and merriment that is this great holiday! Making friends with complete strangers in the crowd and amazing bar staff, you really can't go wrong! I love thier laneway setup with huge stage so everyone can see the action.
Inside the pub is not the fanciest and I can't say too much about the food, bit in terms of ANZAc Day festivities, please don't ever change!!

Celebrated my 50th here and they couldn't have been any better - we asked if they could put on a vegan spread and they created a feast for 20 that really exceeded our expectations. Beers are great value, they change fairly regularly and the staff are friendly. Amazing locals pub in the heart of sydney!!

It is a good place to have a drink enjoy music and talk to new people, the times I have been there I always meet friendly people who are open to chatting.

Had the cheeseburger with chips. Cheeseburger was actually pretty good and chips were nice and crunchy.

Not gonna lie, my friend got the t-bone steak which looked quite thin and not very moist.

The menu was quite limited with hardly anything to choose from. Venue itself looked like it had been frozen in time. That time being the 60s-70s.

Food was affordable and not overly priced. Customer service was wonderful and friendly. Food came out relatively fast.

Located 2 minutes from the Lord Nelson where they were queuing to get served is this old school pub where we ate the most delicious lunch (chicken schnitzel & fish and chips) and listened to some great tunes. Will definitely be back.

A mediocre experience, decent food but nothing worth writing home about. This pub feels old and run down but given the lack of competition in the area, fills a niche in the market. The chips were soggy and the burger meat was over cooked but nonetheless tasty enough for a reasonably priced lunch feed.

Great value meals for $20 or near. Stunning value and delicious burgers. Great Guinness. Rose lovely. Well done.

Hands down best pub in Sydney. I love this place so much, and the food is top-notch. The cheifs burgers are excellent. Such a beautiful atmosphere.

Oh my what a gem of a hotel. Thought I'd been to every pub in the CBD but this little pub is definitely worth a visit. Staff are great. Food is delicious. Can't wait to return. Just a hop, skip and a jump from The Langham in the picturesque Millers Point.

Beef and pork burger are filling and sensational.

Pink moscato and Hawke lager. Good choices.
Pink is on the sweet side which is perfect for me.

Start here! Drinks, food and atmosphere is authentic with the locals and visitors. The "welcome to Australia" from a group of diverse staff members.

From the local residents, to the business attire colleagues as well as the visitors, this place will have you feeling welcomed and relaxed.
The gaming area, kitchen and bar area is well looked after if you don't fancy sitting outside.
P.S Where else would you eat, drink and catch up with others on a pavement?

Great pub. Good food and friendly staff.

Good beer selection of Australian beers that go well beyond the standard drinks. Excellent spirits selection and the staff are all really nice. So good to have a local with permanent staff.

Place is great - friendly service and the kitchen is quick and yummy, so yummy, mmmm. Check out the open mic on Thursdays and buy Elizabeth a glass of wine.

Have drunk and eaten at a lot of pubs in Australia. Think I may have found the worst. Food is terrible , nothing fresh and if you're after a basic schnitty you'll need to allocate more then an hour to wait. Do yourself a favour, walk around Sydney and find something else.
