$15 200 gm Rump Steak with chips and salad... my expectations towards the meat quality had already been managed to a "reasonable" level.
The best part is they asked me how well I wish my steak be done.
I said medium for both as photo.
We have finished both steaks and neither of us could find ANY pink at all.
That's how they do "medium" steak.
My question is... why bother asking at the first place?

I just popped in for a drink, a very spacious bar, with different outlets. I Imagine nights and weekends must be quite busy. I'm here midweek during office hours when everyone is at work. 😉😎. As usual I am enjoying a margarita. $19.95 a little pricey for me. But damn it's so good, i will have one more before i go...

Just had a great rump steak. Cooked perfectly. The poke bowl with salmon was perfectly done as well and so well presented. Bistro is definitely worth a try.

Robert the Licensee is a gem. He is always available with a smile on his face. He goes above and beyond for people's needs and is always accommodating. He helps his staff when very busy by glass collecting, cleaning, preparing tables, food service, etc which I have never witnessed in any other establishment. He greets people with an endearing manner which makes you want to visit again. Thankyou Robert for making Caringbah Hotel an enjoyable visit

Rob is outstanding. Not only did he show me exactly where my room is, he also told me everything about my room's amenities. He even highlighted the hotel's after hours doors. Truly S tier service

Had a christening booked for 24 people.When at the church on the day received a message asking me to confirm my booking for 20 people.Had pre paid for 24?When food did come out barely enough for 20 people.I spent most of my afternoon carrying back empty glasses.Dirty plates left on tables until function finished.Some food boiling hot some Luke warm.Tried to handle my complaint in house to save embarrassing the pub.? Who cares no one.Never again I should have known better.Next time one of Ferros pubs.They know what they're doing.I thought being my local I might have been looked after?No typical Woolworths.I should add Luke the manager on duty did his best.He did have a whole pub to run.

The rooms upstairs are small. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable priced drinks 35 a bottle of champagne

Radiators last night - so disappointing that you can not get the bands to start at 8.30pm
You have other bars in the venue have the NRL on there.
Support band started at 9.15 Radiators at 10.15 played one song the lead went missing for 15 minutes
Waste of time and money attending honestly wake up Caringbah Hotel and get your act into gear!! If it isn't bad enough the venue is small non existent air conditioning you can't even get the bands to start on time!!!!!

What a GREAT place to stay, eat n play.
Staff were friendly and accommodating especially I think her name was Shan. From check in to waiting on tables and behind the bar she was beautiful and amazing how she went about her job. We were in the area for a Pickleball Tournament. We had a group with 5 rooms and would highly recommend the Caringbah Hotel/Night cap Hotel to anyone.
