Relaxed pub with excellent food and a dog menu in a picture perfect neighborhood. Loved it, and so did our dog :)

Situated in the quieter part of Bourke Street, the Carrington really has a local feel and if you don't like dogs, do not come here. I think we were the only table that didn't bring one. The staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks were on the higher priced side but they do have a happy hour. If you feel peckish the chips are thin and yummy.

Classic Australian pub, great vibe but the food is very average. Felt like the schnitzel was not fresh, much better feeds around Surry Hills. The pub itself was nice, trivia on a tuesday night, by the time we left, not a free seat outside.

This is a great dog friendly pub but the food was so disappointing. $34 for a roast dinner that was inedible. The lamb was 70% fat, potatoes boiled and undercooked and the Yorkshire puddings were like fairy cakes. Frozen ones would have been better. A great spot for bringing the dogs for a drink but unfortunately would not eat here again.

Great dog friendly pub. Busy at peak times. But nice vibes when the street is full on a Sunday with people having beers. Also great when live music is on.

The Carrington is open Monday through Saturday from noon to midnight. They are also open Sunday from noon to 10 PM.
