Great dog friendly pub. Busy at peak times. But nice vibes when the street is full on a Sunday with people having beers. Also great when live music is on.

A good little local pub that is very welcoming to dogs, even to sit inside and join you for a meal. The meals are you standard pub fare, but the menu also has treats for dogs. Have had the fish burger and fish and chips here and both have been good feeds.

Everything was awsome, first time experience, warm, cosy and great vibe! We ordered the Calamari, sweet potato fries and garlic bread! Very delicious, I would recommend, for families, and pet friendly! 10 out of 10, for service, and friendly staff!

Unbelievable place, staff were super friendly, drinks were delicious and food was ok. They allow dogs to come into the place when it's hot outside and they have air con. They offer pet menus which my pups absolutely loved. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed.

Dog friendly and dog themed restaurant. We wanted to try pub food in Sydney and was recommended here. Best last meal to finish the trip.

The whole night out was for my wife and I for a special occasion and had a bondi beer schooner each and the food was exquisite and the staff are just like family and treat YOU that way. I would highly recommend considering on your next night out.

Wonderful stay at Carrington Hotel with a friend after the passing of my partner. Was just what I needed beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Very caring staff. Hotel is looking great spotless

My partner and I chose to visit this place specifically because we could bring our dog with us. Not only are dogs welcome, but they have their own menu too! Our dog absolutely LOVED the beef tartar bowl.

We also really enjoyed our meals - steak and pasta. Both were delicious and came out quickly (and I want to bathe in the red wine jus - soooo good)

Incredibly friendly and attentive staff and absolutely delicious cocktails! They also sell emu export, which was very exciting for my Perth friend to hear ?

Went to this pub for lunch because dogs were allowed. Yes dogs are very welcome. That was a big plus for our 7 month old puppy.
The serving staff were very good and friendly.
Now the food and drinks. We ordered two non alcoholic red orange drinks and a beer. The beer was okay. The non alcoholic drinks were like water tasteless.
The food. The owner needs to get a proper chef to manage the kitchen. The food was terrible sorry to say. Excellent location and will be very good with some changes.

Nice place, love that it is pet friendly. Staff were nice. The food, unfortunately, was a letdown. Had a steak sandwich. The steak was a thick piece cut up (not a minute steak), and some pieces also had grizzle. I think they were trying to get a char on the meat. Unfortunately, it had an unpleasant burnt bitter taste. The meat also hadn't been seasoned. Didn't end up eating much of it.

Lovely spot in Surry Hills, off the super-busy corridor of Crown St. Loved this neighbourhood pub, great food and fab service.

The two boys at the bar had no service at all before the owner appeared, and the black-haired girl was very capable, and the owner was very service-conscious before the owner appeared.

??'? Featured on every dog friendly list in Sydney is The Carrington or "The Carro". You don't have to go to the courtyard either, the whole venue is dog friendly so your dog can sit with you while you enjoy your pub meal in a booth!

Parking is a bit tricky in the area, there's a few streets around if you're lucky enough to snag a spot.

One of the oldest pubs in Surry Hills established in 1877. Serving up sharing plates, pasta, and burgers & fries, plus dog eats.

??'? The front bar have booths which are always occupied first then into a dining room with a few tables.

? A variety of beers, wines & cocktails. I had a beer.

Fish & Chips with cabbage slaw, tartare on special for lunch is $15 and non peak is $26. I love fries with fish so I was very happy! Good value especially on special.

I'd love to try a schnitty next time and the pup menu like beef tartare for $6!

Love this place for its dog friendly policy. They have a food menu for you fury pal. While you enjoy your high quality food your fury pal enjoy its meal also right beside you in an environment with other dogs. Locals come here to enjoy drinks & food also. Hidden gem in sydney. Love love love their salmon dish! Just wow!

The Carrington is a super dog friendly restaurant with many puppers on a Thursday night. The food is fresh, and managed to snag a Thursday night special $14 steak. Was definitely much better than I expected. The calamari was also very nice, steamy hot with a thin coating. There is also a menu for dogs, beef tartare was very popular.

Dogs are allowed here and mine loved it! The food was great and the interior has changed and is so cosy :)

Wednesday = $12 burgers and chips night. I had the house burger. This burger tasted like a Whopper Burger from your local HJ's. But the difference was, it wasn't thrown together quicker than a greyhound taking on the 600m at Dapto. It was put together on a flame-grill with love, care and devotion.

Can recommend this place.

Great staff and really yum food. Had best steak sandwich I've ever had there. So lovely seeing all the doggies there and their cute dog menu.

Second time at this pub. Got there just before kitchen closed, not a problem they still took our order. Fabulous place to take your puppy and feel comfortable. The food was great and the cocktails well "what can I say" by far the best we have ever had. The guy behind the bar was very limited in stock but still he made 3 mean cocktails. Will definitely go back again.

Great spot in the heart but quite part of Surry Hills. Fantastic place to take your dog as they love having them visit and dogs get their own free treats like kidney pies!. Food is great with the usual pub grub with some stand outs being the salt and pepper squid and the arancini balls which were super cheesy. Really lovely sitting outside on the footpath tables and meeting everyone enjoying their day with a meal and of course a glass of vino or a beer or even the harder stuff. very friendly staff and a wonderful spot on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
