Pleasantly surprised with this inner city hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Clean rooms - modern new bathrooms. Air cond, fridge, tea coffee making, bathroom amenities. Rooms cleaned daily and milk and bottled water supplied. Excellent central location. No problem with noise. No car parking but we could leave car outside overnight between 6pm and 8 am.

Lots of desperate punters parking out the front on loading and taxi zones to put their bets on at 9.00am in the morning.

I stayed here on 2 separate occasions. I left after 1 night to do a tour around Tasmania. I left 2 small bags of things I wouldn't be needing with them until I returned in a week. I was told they would be stored securely in "the office". Upon returning, several things were stolen from me, including a blue tooth speaker. I didn't notice the theft until the morning I was leaving. It was too late at that point to file a police report. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this place. The employees are dishonest theives.

Can't comment on the rooms here but I called in for a pint and a feed.

The bar has a pretty good selection of beers. It only cost $24 for a pint, burger and chips!

If I wasn't flying out this evening I would come back tomorrow. Best burger I've had in a while.

Great position. Perfect for short stays if you want to be in the city.
Not great for long stays. Towels replaced frequently, but not bedding. Floors not cleaned once in my 3 week stay.
"Pls make up my room" sign was ignored.

I can't comment on the accommodation as I didn't stay
here.
However, the bar is well stocked, not overpriced and friendly.
Gaming room has a good array of machines.
Good place to unwind after a busy day.
