Tamworth Central Motel - Pub in South Tamworth New South Wales

Don't know what all the bad reviews are about the staff was lovely and the rooms where clean, would stay here again.

It is very close to main road so lots of traffic noise. Price was decent and room was good.
It seemed that most of the people staying are long term and emergency accomodation. Very noisy swearing and yelling.

I don't rate this motel a 5 star as the owner of the motel threw out a mother and her kid on to the street when they had no where to go it's poor quality rooms with black mould housekeeping doesn't clean the rooms properly and the owner is just down right rude

Had written confirmed booking to stay 2 nights last week during Country Music festival for an exorbitant $633 (3 star motel) however, we were going to a family funeral & needed accomodation. Day after booking Motel, Manager/owner rang to say he didn't have a room for 2nd night, a computer glitch. Advised we had written confirmation but to no avail. He then said he did actually find a room but would be $800+ for 2nd night & $633 for the 1st night. Explained we were going to a funeral & he was trying to scam us but he didn't care. We cancelled booking

I stayed a week here. The managers were absolutely fantastic. Friendly, kind, professional and my room was great. Comfortable, clean with everything I needed.
